The titile says it all
ex: Ray liotta - Henry Hill
Deniro - Jimmy Conway
Pacino - Tony Mantana, Lefty, Corleone
Micheal Madsen - Sunny Black
These are a aouple of examples i personaly liked all these characters for different reasons but one i realy enjoed was Pacino as Lefty in Donnie Brasco because he wasent rich and was working his ass off to make the next big score, grimmy type character.

one underrated movie to me that none talks about is "Hoodlum". that was a good movie and that cat fishburne played the role...

My favorite character is Joe Pesci as Nicky Santoro. Even Biggie would rap about him.

U know that Paulie from the Sopranos is a real mobster been to prison and all that.
my fav character from the sopranos besides Tony is Christopher. I have a feeling he will die in this season, hopefully he won't. I always like Ralph too.

that was the role of all gangster movies. Caan actually hung with real gangsters to get the role down.

it's got to be Vito/Michael Corleone
both died of natural causes, both became the most feared and respected people, both in their later years had a kinder wiser heart. to put it more simply: they were 3D. there was more to them than just killing and getting money
