I was just wondering today....how lame he is...most of the time you cant even understand what he's saying cuz he's mumbling and keeps making that dog sound or whatever it is.
I dont know why they give him so much shine when the bay is full of waaaaay better artists??

I think your f@ck'N crazy. Keak is one of the most original and innovative rappers out the Bay. He's an MC that takes chances... never settling for whats been done.. always taking himself outta that comfort zone for the sake of creativity. Most MC's dont know about stayin uncomfortable, thats why most of em suck.
Check your history, Keaks the truth.

Keak can be hard to understand at times but he is cool to me. I don't really dislike a rappers style, just as long as there is substance to their rhymes.

keak's got that town spit. for some of you, your gonna have to slow it down, and replay the song to fully understand. like on superhyphy, the beginning sounds like, "summinahummina." but he actually said, "handin my strap at 7-11, smokin purple, sippin yack"

keak is fuckin dope! the more i listened to him the more i liked him! plus he knows how to make good albums.....he got his own style! and thats talent!...i agree on spider loc being the worst and silkk the shocker too...w/ some mac-shawn in the mix also

It's funny to me....because there are many rappers who are trash, but people won't be like "well they have their own style, they are unique, they don't sound like anyone else, they are breaking new ground" unless they are famous or get put on by somebody famous.
Personally, I have hella mixed opinions on Keak. I'd say he's the type that whenever I see that he has a new track, I will want to peep it, and he has a grip of dope songs....but it's hard to listen to an entire album from him, and if somebody was like "he sucks, he has no flow, you can't understand him, doesn't talk about shit", I couldn't really defend him or be mad at them...I'd just be like "well, to each his own".
It's more funny than anything else when he's mumblin, but sometimes he gets off. I hated the original "Super hyphy" at first, but I grew on it and realized he was actually spittin on there, and that shit got catchy as hell.

I could understand if i keep listening to him but he just gets ANNOYING...
There is a fine line between creative and JUST RIDICULOUS...so if i come out throwing farsi words with english in a crazy ass tone, would ya'll think its the f-ckin shit??? I doubt it.
Thats what i hate about artists today, NO CREATIVITY so they think if they something WEIRD and different it'll be liked by others. I believe you should have substance and meaning to your lyrics, how come rap 20 years ago was more sophisticated than today??? LOL...you're supposed to make progress not go back.

Ill take keak over all the other generic rappers who sound and rap like everyone else. You may not like Keak's style but when his record comes on you know exactly who you are listening to. Not all other MCs can say the same thing.
Why doods expect everyone to sound like Nas/Jay from the east and Pac/Cube from the west amazes me. You guys want to hear people spit that all sound the same and have the same style?

at first i didnt like Keak and i thought he sounded like Taz from Looney Toons but he grew on me and now i got 2 of his albums.. and i cant understand him most of the time now

I never said that, your going to 2 extremes.

Keak is definitley innovative and original. I could see how his flow would be offputting to most.
Ive been a fan of Keak since the 3X days when he wasn't as incoherant, but since he changed his flow, his song making ability has gotten way better.
Yeah, his voice is too gravelly sometimes, and he says alot of shit that should never be said on a rap record, but if your accustomed to Keak, you can't help but to feel him.
