Once again dubcnn has been given the jump on the latest mixtape by one of R&B's hottest stars who happens to be turning his attention to Hip-Hop.
Tyrese from Watts has been acting and recording R&B music for many years now and last year decided to go under a new name, to reveal his rawer Hip-Hop side.
Black-Ty is how he is now referred too and as such he has been steadily working with the biggest producers, the hottest names and is building up to the release of his first album under that moniker. Earlier this year dubcnn gave you the exclusive free download first of the Black-Ty mixtapes; "Best Of Both Hoods Volume 1" which received rave reviews.
Today we have a new mixtape entitled "Ghetto Royalty" which is being backed by DJ S&S and DJ Skee, the latter of which spoke to us about the release; "I finally got to really sit down with Tyrese this week at his HeadQuarter Offices and check out his album and new mixtape. All I can say is wow. Black Ty has some shit for real, people have been doubting him getting into the rap game but he not only can spit, he really paints a picture with each song. Check out his mixtape for the warm up, and make sure you stay tuned for his album. He's got everyone on it and the lead single is a banger... Do not sleep and open your eyes!"
