this is kind of long, so read it if you want:
I posted it earlier that I was going to a pretty tight concert on tuesday and since it has happened already I decided to talk about it,
well first off when i got there they said doors open at 7PM, i got there with my brother at 6:50, and the lines were fuckin huge, the concert was downtown so when we found parking, it was kind of far from the concert but we saw this guy and he wanted to know what direction the concert was in and we walked with him and he told us he has a friend in line and he let us go in line with him which was about half way which is much better than the end.
anyway we got in at 8, because they had to searh everyone, so at about 8:30 the concert started
It started off with Toya singing a couple songs, she looked good the crowd liked her,
then as usual, in concerts u gotta wait between artists, and this was kind of a small place so we had to stand up but we had pretty good views
Then, came the Outlawz, they were pretty cool. the crowd liked them, they were alright
Next, was Mobb Deep, a LOT of people were expecting them,
they came out tight, they sang song some songs , some i dont remember but they also sang, "burn", tight performance, then "quiet storm", everyone was feeling that
that up next was warren G, and damn that wait was LONG, it seemed liek forever and it was hot as hell
another bad thing about the concert was every once and a while I had a good view but this dumbass who looks like Fat Joe kept gettin in the way and he was tall and huge so its kind of hard to see through that, anyway
Warren G came out, everyone went all crazy, it was tight, He sang "I want it all", then "This DJ", after that, the classic "regulate", damn everyone was singing that, then he was singing some new stuff off return of the regulator, which were "gangta shit is too much" and "ghetto village" and he ended the performance with "looking at you", it was all good for him because all these girls got on stage and were all over him, he got much love from the audience
The last performer was Mack 10, the wait wasn't that long at all and when he came out, it was just crazy, he started off with "only in california", lol it was funny because ice cube goes first in that song, so he should have just waited for the song to play and get to him but he messed up and started rapping his part so they had to stop it,
then he said "i did a song with the dogg pound niggaz" then "Nuthin but the Cavi Hit" came up, very tight performance by mack 10, then they played "2 of amerikaz most wanted" for 2pac, then "bow down", that came tight, then they played "hate in yo eyez", he did it all tight, at one point in the concert he had the guy with him have a side of the room try to hype up the crowd while he did his side and he evenr brought his kids so it was all good
then to top it off he performed "Foe Life", damn that shit was tight, everyone was bouncing to it, then the last song was "Backyard Boogie", everyone loved that, then he left and got much love from the crowd
so overall the concert was very dope for it being in a little place, they need to do that more in tucson
