Title: AllHipHop.com Interview with The Game
Post by: d-nice on September 21, 2006, 07:00:04 AM
Nice Interview. Mentions Snoop and Tha Dogg Pound will be on the album. Mentions some dude named Ras Kass too.  ;D That section about Ras is the same one from Youtube where he is talking about his chain. Check it out.

Talk about jumping on whatever is hot at the moment. His guest and production line up looks like str8 from a mtv show. Wheres his BWS crew ? Where are his own producers ?

Props. Good read. I guess he's going to keep everyone guessing whether Dre did any tracks right up to the end.

I don't he can keep his mouth shut for that long. If he had a Dre beat he would be rubbing it in our faces by now.

Likelihood is that there's no Dre beat on the album, but like many before him, Game knows that the mere possibility will get people interested.

But....I hope he proves me wrong.

BTW, no Quik beats on the album? They've worked together before and it's sounded good.

well, if game said dre was in the studio with him...maybe dre did something vocally on the album, just being optomistic.

Bottom line:

If Game has a Dre beat, he has nothing to gain from hiding it, but could hype the album up if he confirms it.

If he doesn't have a Dre beat, he could damage anticipation for his album in certain circles by confirming it, but keep people optimistic by not confirming it.

Therefore, I'd say it's 99.9% certain there's no Dre beat given Game's obvious annoyance at being asked about it constantly.

Having said that, I don't give a fuck. I'll buy the album on the release date regardless. I actually agree with Game - whether or not Dre is on the album shouldn't make or break it.

Yeah, that's good logic. I'll cop anyway too.

how quick are you guys to forget?

Dre doesn't make beats. He mixes them.

With that being said, it doesn't matter if a dre beat is on the album, as long as dre has 'blessed' it with his mixing, it should be good. Game confirmed that Dre worked on the album..

just like the last one. :)

People forget that it's not just a Dre beat that Game will be missing out on, it's Dre's whole magic touch. Dre will not produce on the album, not mix the album, not be executive producer, not touch up other people's beats, not coach Game on how to best deliver a verse/hook etc.

yup.. but i tihnk that's game's point..

game doesn't want people to no longer think that he is dre or 50's puppets..

I hope Game proves them wrong.. Also, i want to see the full extent of Game's music making ability.  8)
