Mitch is the best rapper on the West hands down right now. He's hungrier than Cube too.

BTW, he only sold about 900 records first week, so support this dude if you can find it. Im sure it's due to lack of promotion and pushing the album back 5 years had alot to do with it. This cat scanner 13K with his 1st indy release. He should have sold double that in week one.

the soundscan shit is not accurate, cus it does not take into account indi retail, and  does not tally numbers from all major chains contrary to belief.

^there is a margin of error in soundscan but it's relatively low, especially compared to RIAA scoring.  he probably did like 1-1.2k at best, but with an underground dude like him it is kinda hard to speculate because he probably relies on so many indie retailers that don't work with soundscan

yeah, ur right, but they recently started "skipping" stores, to conquer the fraudulant activity, so alotta people are suffering, namely underground cats, because when you do a certain amount of units as a indi, they often come under scrutiny by Neilson/soundscan.

most of the people who buy mitchy's records buy them in san diego at fammart (which is like a swaptmeet) so that would explain it...

but damn 900?

it was actually 839...but he probably did way more than that non-soundscan...BUT the industry only counts and cares about soundscan...so that's not a good look for daygo...and he has the most buzz in the city...and soundscan did start to trip...because it was too many people doing the fake soundscan thing...so it is what it is...the album is still bangin...and I hate to say it...if he can't do it...the other daygo artist don't have a good chance at all...and I like almost all of our rappers...but that's the truth...

Yeah, 839 is what I got too, but that's only soundscanned numbers.

as a indi artist, he could prob. do 8-900 pieces a week for a longer period of time, indie's dont usually have real big first week's, so he may move more over the long haul. the majors are the reverse, they have real big first weeks then dip. but the album is the shit

LOL, neither are signed to Universal, and neither have a chance of blowing up. Name something special or standout about these 2. They are OK rappers, but you gotta be realistic with yourself.

they're both signed to Loyalty/Universal. And they both have a chance of blowing up. Why? Because they're both capable of making good commercial music. I-Rocc already has songs with Mike Jones, The Game, etc.

The songs the had with Game were super old verses that JT The Bigga Figga sold them, you gotta be able to tell that. Neither of these guys have had anything even remotley close to a hit. "Thats my Song" didnt even get play on Diego radio. I like I-Rocc alot, not big on Dirtee but they are not commercially acceptable. I'm through talking about it though, holla at me in 3 years when these 2 are still nowhere to be found.

A signature copy would be dope, but I can't afford another copy, I wish I would of known.

As of right now "Aint My Fault" is on constant rotation.
