Since the West ain't doin' too good right now, I'd say he'll go gold. What y'all think?
-
Nah it'll probably be slept on like the rest of the west albums...Quik's last album hasn't even gone gold...
-
I think that if there is good promotion this album might go platinum cause the album before balance & option was tight as fucc and went platinum look at the title "Safe & Sound 2"that mean classic
-
I hope it goes gold ATLEAST! He deserves to go plat. IMO.
-
i hope that it goes platnum but that prolly wont happen cuz people arent buyin west coast shit right now.
Peace
-
i really hope he'll go platnum but i doubt it....at best he'll do as good as the new Cypress hill cd
-
he'll end up goin gold, all his shit goes atleast gold
-
100.000 COPIES THE FIRST WEEK

what do i think? i think i'll listen to it, and the very first time i hear it i'll be like "motherfuck, that fool is so talented" and i'm sure thats all i'll listen to for months. and i'm pretty fuckin sure that outside all the headz that really listen to hip hop, it won't blow up, maybe MAYBE go gold+. and i could give a fuck about mainstream, i just want these fools to be justly compensated for all their work that goes into what they make. i mean shit lets think about how fucked up things are......quik will write, produce, mix, arrange, do 100% of everything on this album (minus guest appearances) and still only achieve mediocre sales. and this guy is a fuckin GENIUS. there is no arguin with that. then we have some talentless fuck by the name of fabolous. he goes into the typical formula to blow the fuck up: gets a beat from timbaland, the neptunes (who suck by the way), does a track with nate, winds up on that fuckin benzino remix, and don't forget IS FROM NY, and there you go--instant fame. shit just doesn't make sense. there is so much politics involved, but then again hip hop has always been super political so that can't be blamed. FUCK IT PISSES ME OFF EVERYTIME I TALK ABOUT IT!

yeah good post man. when it comes to quik i could careless how much he sold, cause he's album is tite anyway, wether he sold alot or not. he's a rapper i dont know want to see go commercial. of course it would be dope if more ppl would be checkin for him. his last albums went at least gold, so this should sell at least 500.000. with a good first single catchy chorus, he's gonna sell well, if not, all good.
