Post by: Don Seer on December 16, 2001, 01:13:41 AM: Just installed the YaBB updated SP1, hot off the press. its faster.. theres a lot of bug fixes, and a few new features too (including sticky threads!).

If you notice anything bad/werird holla !

Oh... one thing, if you noticed the images across the top have the text twice hit ctrl-f5, it means you've got old images cached.

a few ppl have msged me with concerns over the board update affecting speed.
what i've noticed is that it gets *a lot* slower after 9/10pm GMT.. but it is faster when its not in these 'go slow' times.
this was even before the upgrade, and hasnt changed since.

2 things

1) i've shortened the number of visible posts a little, so shit should load a little faster all the time, even when its on a 'go slow'

2) http://hosting.xnull.com/status.php thats the status page for my host. if u notice it getting bad keep an eye on the values, if u notice changes in speed showing in the values there. holla so we can whats slowing shit down.
