Title: My prediction for rap in the next 5 years.
Post by: Crack Tastic on September 26, 2006, 03:15:57 PM: here wil be more major independent labels after artists on major labels get dropped and released from thier contracts. major labels will focus more and more on big poppy acts poppy r&b and rock groups. the folks that can make hot songs but arent verry marketable will go indie and make bread.

hows that sound?

They will probably turn to other fades and ceo's of labels will try to market original nerd rappers like lupe fiasco and kanye west to appeal to the people that dont really are into hip hop. The underground will always be there though so i doesn't matter to me what will happen 50 cent fat joe mike jones
