Game said today on mtv that he intends on selling a million copies the first week.
says he sold 600,000 last time out and anything less than a million is a disapointment.
he should have atleat 400,000 more fans this time around.
he also made refrences to coming out when jay-z did for sake of competition.
i'm not feeling either single but anxious to see what the album will sound like and plan on buying it as a way of showing my support to the west.
(i could bootlegg it but i no longer bootlegg westcoast shyt. you should do the same)

I think it will be a little under 500 000 but thats not a bad thing at all. This record will probably go 2x platinum.

Game got a HUGE buzz right now, IF he's not pushed back again, he gonna do 350-400k 1st week (not more coz the single won't blow up)

It won't probably sell gold it's first week out, but overall it should go platinum plus, maybe double plat. A few years back I'd be predicting easy double platinum, good chances of triple/quadruple platinum with the hype he's got now (it's not 50 Cent crazy or Eminem Show crazy, but still pretty good), but as we all know record sales are down throughout.

IMO it all depends on if the south feeling his shit, if people in the south go crazy, then 500k plus, if not, 300 k will be a battle.

^^^^ yep, well said... actually Game got a bigger buzz than Snoop or Nas, he's all around rap TV shows and all around the net forums (ok it's just the net but when they're like 50 topics about him on Allhiphop forum that's still a good indicator, people from the whole US just waiting for his lp)

Well Game definetly has a buzz on the internet these days. His whole beefs with GUnit, Ras Kass and if Dre will be on the album keep his name on these forums. Looks like he learned a thing or two from 50 Cent.
I do find it funny how hes always saying that this album is just about The Game, yet hes talking about guest apperances and production list all the time. Kanye West, Scott Storch, Dr.Dre, Timbaland, Just Blaze, Swizz Beatz, J.R., Will.I.Am. The only one thats missing from the "A" list are Neptunes. Then hes bragging about all these guest apperances like Busta, Snoop, Nas, Kanye.... If he really wants to get his BWS movement on solid ground he should have BWS dudes rappign on it, his inhouse producers and stuff like that...
Despite the frst 2 singles are a step down from Doc, Im still lookin forward to this becuase with that production and guest list its gotta have some banging tracls.
I predict around 400.000 first week.

Man, who is Game kidding about competing with Jay. I predict Jay will do 1mil before Game does 500k. I'm still rooting for Game but I gotta admit One Blood & Stripclub are just meh... there better be some classic bangers on that album.

Yea its waaaaaaaaay overestimated, i think it'll be a big shock...he gotta be confident i agree and i hope it does well but he needs the single to blow and quickly, needs a video in steady rotation, needs to get a promotional tour together AND has to hope sales start to rise again by October cause the charts are doing nada...(bar one or two artists)

I'd be amazed if he sold over 500,000 copies in his first week, i'd probably think 400k is more realistic. No offence but there arent that many game fans and he needs the singles to do well to sell over 500,000.

Like I stated in my classic "Game is now officially the Westcoast version of 50 Cent" thread a year or so back, Game keeps AT LEAST as many beefs going as 50 Cent, don't even try to deny that they're both using these beefs as the foundation for countless mixtapes/freestyles/tracks, which attracts more and more media headlines/articles/speculation/PR, it's what keeps their names buzzing and their careers floating. Game obviously looked at how it worked for 50, now he's 50 pt.2 in the beef arena.
On topic, I think Game will do 200k-350k, unless he pulls out a crazy ass single which I've yet to hear since The Docu.

I did came out wierd but you probably understand what Im saying. By the looks of it Game is jumping on whatever is selling the most, which isnt sure that its a good thing. Like that Storch beat for 1st single. It sounds like an unfinshed version of Poppin Them Thangs and Times Up.
And what I also meant with this comment is that Game is saying how this cd is only about "The Game". How he wrote everything, executive produced it, he doesnt need no help from certain peoples, yet its obvious hes relying on production and guest lists big time.
Dont treat me like a Game hater, I was a fan of his ever since he first started making noise, I just got tired of his predictable ryhme scheme, every song basically sounds the same to me. I never even dissed him as many of you make it out to be all I said was that hes lyrically average, which he is. But hes got a good ear for production and if the album turns out to be dope, I'll be the first one to say it (although things aint looking good judging by first 2 singles)

How come u catz even gotta compare to the Docu me myself dont even think the documentary was a good album I never bought it and til this day if i listen to it i like maybe 3 - 4 songs on the album so the album is def far from classic but I can say I am anticapting the new album all the mixtapes game has put out have been fire and far better then the Gunit mixtapes so I think this album overall will be better and do better in sales then the docu. One blood is gettin alot of airplay fuck its even on TRL thats hard to do for a hip hop artist in General but a West Coast Hip hop artist thats really sumthin.
ANd Detox it dosent even matter whut u say you have made it clear in all of the Game Topics that your a hater and a Dr Dre/50 Cent/G Unit Groupie Give it up Dre's Gurl .
