i think that the row is cuz they keep focusing on dissing their ex artists and not focusing on releasin their own shit. the artists must be gettin pissed as they release the GH of ex artists.

Row is easily the worst. At least the other albums are putting out music with their artists and have shown signs of success in the past 5 years.

Tha Row, fuckin' label can't even release it's own artists shit!! Maybe they'd be good if Suge realized that the only way he can ever be on top again is if he actually has artists CURRENTLY on his label that are getting recognition from shit they drop, not from dissin' ex"Inmates". It could help if he dropped a tight album by one of his artists that are sitting around with hype and expectations coming out of their ass(Crooked-I).

Actually unlike you I don't care who likes me over a computer. Unlike you i don't have 4205 post with half of them pointless beef started by you with other forum members. My wack ass label? Do it look like I'm on DR? Unlike you when people post I don't cry and defend Snoop or Dogghouse unlike you. Personally I like Bay Area rap much more the ThaRow and dogghouse. But i just feel Tha Row under suge is more proven unlike Dogghouse under Snoop who was had trouble promoting and selling his artist records. I will say why Tha Row is, first off they have Crooked I, which they refuse to drop his album. They say they are gangsta, but signed Left Eye and Ray J. Their owner is at risk of going to jail at all times, and they depend on old music to sell, such as 2 Snoop Dogg CDs, 3 2Pac CDs, a Dogg Pound CD and rumored of a Dr. Dre CD. They are worst off than any other lable and with the exception of the 2Pac release, all their shit doesn't sell.
As for Doggystyle and D.P.G. I think they need to combined the lables, and figure out a way to market their stuff better. I was surpised the 2nd Eastsidaz didn't sell well, but the rest does all sound the same. Need more variety. -Peace

I originally wasn't gonna respond to this, but I might as well throw my 2 cents in, and ask this, what label DOESN'T fuck over their artists? Def Jam has fucked over their artists,you can ask Warren G, Richie Rich, Jayo Felony, and most likely WC about this. You can also talk to the numerous acts they sign, but never release material or get publicity. Cash $? Have a chat with Juvenile about how his finances were. Ho Limit? It was bad enough for a bunch of former artists to make an entire album dissing Ho Limit. Aftermath? Talk to all those artists that were on the first cd, and ask them if Dre fucked their careers over, which he did except for Eve. Doggystyle? I've already stated how Snoop is screwing over his artists by releasing crap like Doggy's Angels over Soopafly or the Twinz (if they are signed to the label) and putting "Snoop Dogg presents..." and a wack George Clinton wannabe all over the album, and load it up with guest appearances so it seems more like a compilation than a solo album. Snoop has gotten very good promotion compared to Tha Row, yet out of the albums this year, they still haven't sold as much records as Tha Row, and as you all know, they released old material from ex-inmates. Ask those artists on Dogghouse what it's like to have their album pushed back for another Eastsidaz or Snoop album. Shady Records? Too new to determine. Tha Row? All that shit happened in the past, and 2002 marks a new beginning for them. They've fucked over artists in the past, but as I've proven, what label HASN'T fucked over their artists in one way or another?

king t-dre put out his single for thy kingdom come and it didn't even get 2% of the airplay "what you see is what you get" got, dre gave up and let king t go and went into "retirement"
and the rest of the people on that lp ALL got record deals from some other record lables
dre didn't fuck them over in the slightest....

I own every single Death Row release, and I can honestly say Tha Row. I mean track two, on Too Gangsta For Radio, the sound goes up for Scarfaces verse, right in the middle. Just horrible producing for a "professional" recording. The sound a-likes, such as Tha Realest and Top Dogg can not be forgiven, and the endless dissing to get their name out is stupit. Yes I know you guys started Dre and Snoop, fine, I don't need a reminder. I own every single CD, from The Chronic to Snoop's Greatest Hits, and I can say this. I ain't a dick rider, 'cause I'll say my shit about Snoop and the Dogg Pound, but Tha Row is just bad. Track 2 on Too Gangsta For Radio says it all when the song is mixed in a middle of a verse.

I cant believe NO ONE has mentioned Ruthless yet!! They are the worst of the worst. Bone got them 30 million+ in sales and a grammy award, and Ruthless fucked them over.............

It can still be a professional lable, and Ruthless died with Eazy. This is not Ruthless, it's something else. And Tomika is still not as bad as Suge's old school wwannabe gangsta tactics. After all, Suge did graduate college, and was concidered a smart man before starting Death Row.

Here are my views... Tha Row... they are just starting with their new look, new sound and what not... it will take time to see what direction they go... if they continue the nonsense, then yea... goodbye to them... they died when Snoop finally left... as for Dogghouse/Doggystyle Records... Snoop is working hard to get them into the limelight... he moved them over to MCA after the terrible promotion of 4 albums... Bad Azz could have been a hit, but first off... the first single was a bad choice and another single never showed... MCA is what they need... a label who will give the money for good promotion and do its thing... after all.. Snoop always recieved good promotion on Priority, but his artists didn't get it from TVT...so i see bright things for them...
