Pretty good show. I've been to better concerts, but it was decent though. He performed all his classics, which was dope 8)
Too bad that the bass was way too loud. At times you couldn't even hear the keyboards in a song because the thumping bass & beats were loud as hell. Very irritating if you're standing next to the speakers too btw, lol. Anyway, whoever was responsible for the P.A. that evening fucked up in a major way.
Throughout the concert he handed out red roses to girls in the audience, and he picked out a bunch of girls to come and dance with him on stage.
He performed for 1 hour and 15 minutes only...that was a bit disappointing. There was also little (or none, actually) interaction with the audience. To me, having interaction with your fans is part of a good concert. I had the impression that he rushed through all his songs, and after about an hour he was gone. He made himself a quick buck. 33 Euros for an average concert...but oh well, I got to see a hip-hop legend though.
I'd recommend him, but don't set your expectations too high.

LL wit no interaction? :(
-
Well, the only things he said to the audience were "Say 'yeaaaaaaah!'" and at the end of the show "This was my first time in Belgium. Y'all got a place in my heart now. Peace!". That was it.
-
Is he touring Europe? I'll be pissed if he came thru Glasgow and I missed it.
Had a look I can only see a date for London and one for Dublin. I guess no-one was told that people in Scotland love hip-hop too. :-\

Going to see him this Saturday...

So LL finally figured out hes fallen off and noone wanna hear his new stuff. When i saw him 2 years ago, all he performed was shit from his album that had that song "Headsprung" >:(
-
^^^^Oh man, that must've been terrible. He performed "Headsprung" too though, and 90% of the crowd went wild during that song...I was like "wtf?! This song is garbage!", lol. I mean, it's catchy, but that's it. I came to see him perform the classic hits, and luckily that's what he did too.
-
Headsprung was one of my favorites of that summer. LOL!
What classics did LL do?
-
All of them: Rock The Bells, Mama Said Knock You Out, Doin' It, etc...you name it. He did them all.
-
did he do Changes, by 2pac?
-
No, why would he do that?
