He says shit like "Im that black nigga"....Like, he so black hes a Black Nigga...Ren aint no regular nigga, hes a BLACK nigga.....this nigga just love to curse, it gets worse.
The lines from that one Kurupt song are just rediculous....Ren is ruthless, and the guy just loves to curse. Legendary dick starts to soak in your throat nigga!
Have any of you guys ever listened to Ren and thought dude was straight up crazy?

he's not even the greatest lyricist but he's got a lot of presence.... "here come The Villian with anotha heata"
he's real tight when he's on guest spots

I wasnt trying to comment on Rens lyrical abilities....just wanted to know if anyone else thinks dude is crazy (kookoo)
BTW, Kurupt is turning into the new MC Ren
-
His lyrics matched with his raw flow are what make him so dope. You can tell it's real. He probably talks like that all the time.

Even in '06: "Who is it? That black nigga with the big dick, posted up with Crazy Toones takin your trick" to open his spit on "Roll On Em" from CT Experience.
Ren's explosive approach made him great on guest spots.
BTW: I can up that track if ya'll want, tracks sick: Xzibit, Maylay, Ren & WC.
-
'And pregnate your bitch, while you pay the childsupport'' LOL
He's great on guest appereances, always bringing that heat.
Still got love for Ren (No Homo), never seems to bore me.
-
"nigga fuck that my black ass back at the grave/ fucked up is how we behave"
-
Where Is Ren Now? Is He Working On A New Album?
-
ren was doin a new album with paris a while back but it was scrapped I think he's retired now.
-
All these rap niggas that retire allways comeback.
Too Short had a retirement party n everythang thenhe has released about 7 albums since lol
As for Ren he easily replaced Cube as the rhyming nigga with his flow, presence and rhymes on Efil4Zaggin.
Shock Of The hour/Villian In Black were dark n dope albums.
That John doe and Ruthless were let downs, he admits it about the latter. He needs to get sharp lyrically as he was in his younger days.
Ren - yellin fuck the Police since niggaz been pop lockin
-
"cause I been around and Imma be around again... who is it.. tha black nigga that they call REN!!!"
"cuz I carry a big stick for niggaz that never shot a beebee gun always talkin bout a trigger... just to get paid they make it all routine... hear fire cracker pop, they runnin from the scene..."
"its too many records out that aint sayin nuthin.. and fake ass radio stations aint playin nuthin. the sh@t gotta get back its time to MC.. too many new niggas aint SURE like Al-B or wanna b "L" and only care for the green or pose like a b@tch to get put in a magazine, YOU AINT FRESH YOU AINT RIGHT ON YOU AINT THE SOURCE, NiGGA WANTED TO GET WITH ME BUT YOUR SH@T WAS HORSE!!!!
Ren is one of the DOPEST ever. I thought Mad Scientist was CRAZY. Prod by Madness 4 Real. Classic westcoast joint.

I think MC Ren in his prime actually was a pretty good lyricist. Just check out songs like "Final Frontier" and some of the ones on NWA's "Efil4zagin" album. I think for his time, his lyrics were pretty amazing. Putting him in the context of today's top mcs, maybe he isn't quite what he once was, but I still get a kick out of hearing him on when he releases something new.
-
i think the death of DJ Train was fucken hard for him, because after Train died, Ren started slippin a little, IMO.
but still a legend. this should be considered an appreciation thread. its a celebration bitches. 8)

You might be right. It could've been around the time Dj Train passed away. I can't remember exactly when that was though. I know he mentions him passing in the liner notes of "Villain in Black." Would that have made it around '95/96? It seems like I remember hearing that he had unfortunately passed away in a bad house fire. It sounded pretty terrible. It seems to me though that Ren's style started sounding a little different when he dropped that "Shock of the Hour" album, so I don't know.
-
^yea, DJ Train went into a burning building because he thought there were people in thier that needed help(i think one of his kids) it ended up that nobody was in the house, and Train died looking for someone who wasnt there.
RIP. 8)

Yeah we need some Ren. Give that brother some tight beats this time. He should start making beats so he wont have to wait for these other cats. Check him out on Snoops Last Meal clownin' Tomika Wright.

When can we expect to see a MC Ren interview happen?
