Did anyone else buy this ? Its pretty good, stoupe comes correct on the production as usual and vinnie paz seems to have stepped up lyrically.
-
Finally a good JMT album. Vinnie Paz did step up his lyrical ability big time on this. I always thought he was wack before this. Stoupe has always been incredible though. What really gave me chills on this album was "Uncommon Valor: A Vietnam Story" Why don't we ever get tracks like that anymore in hip hop/rap?
Beats: 5/5
Lyrics: 4.5/5

that track with RA the Rugged Man is dope as fuck.
-
razerblade salvation and heavy metal kings are class!
-
its the same boring ass production as the last one, sounds good for a while but def not worth havin an entire album in my opinion
-
Wasn't bad but I was only feeling the single and Vietnam joint.
They're gonna be in LA this week so I might check them......then again I got a feeling I wouldn't wanna be in that crowd.
-
well I never checked out their last album, even forget what it was called but I still love JMT, Ive heard this is a good album too so I'll be checkin it out
ah, Legacy of Blood
-
Stoupes production is amazing, and Paz's lyrics although pointlessly violent at times, was pretty tight this time around, you can always rely on JMT for some fresh tracks.
-
Word. Vinnie must finally be attending anger management because his anger was toned down the entire album. Which is a good thing because it sounded like homeboy was trying to hard to be angry in the last album.

Totally agree with you there. Hes much better with a smooth delivery.

^^
He got more of an interesting flow now, but he dosnt seem to come as hard this time round, he dosnt rap as fast as before. the production on this albums ill again, Razorblade Savation and Shadow Business on replay right now are smooth tracks.

'Shadow Business' is a song yall should hear.
I think at least 60% of Hip-hop should be conscious.

i wouldnt say the production was boring, i love the way stoupe layers his beats with samples and individual sounds. Plus none of it is generic, monotomous radio friendly production.
