In 1995, Eric "Eazy E" Wright died in a hospital due to complications from AIDS. Now, former Eazy E producer, Rhythm D is going to bring him back to life through never-before heard music. Rhythm is set to drop an Eazy E 8-song EP titled, The Real Godfather of Gangsta Rap in Spring 2002 via Ruthless/Epic Records. The producer spent a year behind the boards putting the project together to make sure fans get the best product.
In addition to working on the Eazy project, Rhythm D has also launched his own label, Ha Ha/Doughman Entertainment. Currently signed to the label include west coast artists, Intense Hustlers, Phalos Mode, and Rhythm D as The Genie. For those unfamiliar with the name, Rhythm D has hooked up tracks for Paperboy ("Ditty"), Bone Thugs N Harmony, Mack 10, AMG, MC Ren, Flesh N Bone, Kokane among others.

I will believe it when I actually see it. Somehow I doubt there are actually enough unused Eazy-E vocals elft for 8 songs. I remember when Eazy died, DJ Yella said there was only 4 unreleased songs left, and since then 2 have been released on the Ruthless 10th Anniversary compilation.
By the way has anyone seen the new ad for Eazy-E's sonns new album?

I had a Homeboy who knew Rythm D and was a Ruthless Records/Eazy E Fanatic...He told me Rythm D gave him an Eazy E EP, and that Rythm D had 95% of the unreleased Eazy E shit. He told me that about one year ago...and now I hear this shit...He said that he has a FULL albums worth of Eazy E shit...

Damn... I wish that Rythm D would give or sell that shit to Aftermath, so we wouldnt have to worry about who was going to be the new member of NWA...
Man, I miss Eazy... :(
