i aint tryna bring mo negativity to game, but on the real, game aint hittin the numbers he sold last time around.
first off, he lost his base at gunit records, okay so he may have handled these niggaz on wax but it also meant he lost major fans, aswell as pickin up new ones..........but those groupies who only ever buy a record if it got printed gunit on it, they aint gon cop it, then he lost his shady records sales........the he lost aftermath which was a even bigger blow imo, because even if he wasnt gettin gunit groupies he would have got a whole bunch of cats coppin his cd just off the fact it would have been released on aftermath, plus promotion is even mo extensive on aftermath, they try not to miss much.............
now the nigga all by himself on geffen, which is a kool spot if you established but game aint nowhere near that level, he made money, he sold records, put out a heater........ONCE.........
imo, i think if game goes platinum, it'l be a success in my eyes, i will be suprised if he hits gold real quick............sales records are real down right now, lower than usual, nobody selling big numbers so what game gon do?
what y'all reckon he gon push sales wise?
by the way, y'all think game can put out a heated lp without dre looking over it.........??
i mean he put out 2 jams, he proved he can make hits and dope jams without 50...okay kool..........like one blood, which y'all may not feel over here, but to me its fire.........and then you got strip club which is kool
but can he handle a whole records top to bottom without dre.......and what makes it worse is to follow the documentary? he better not have a massacre style follow up..........
advantages game has going into this album.........
his charisma, has a lot of shit to talk about, got a style to him which keeps you listening, something not many of the newer cats have.....lyrically not amazing but dope and he has a good ear for music and producers seem to give him nice beats, so they must like his style
weakenesses.........
name drops to much........ppl over react on this but i dont mind game name dropping but he should do it every other line.........okay club jams get a pass because its a club joint, you don't judge a club jam by how in depth the lyrics are(unless you know nuttin about music) but instead of how it bumps and gets ppl jammin in a club........
he has no dre beats........dre aint looking after him production wise and he dont have 50 to collaborate with (they make good music together)

Hes gonna go platinum no doubt, he learned a lot from you know who, in terms of how to attention whore untill your album drops. But why do sales eve matter ?
Im looking forward to his album, it should be great to bump in your car, sort of like Diddys new LP.

sales make a big different because if sales are good he'll be set for coming out with dope/high budget albums in the future, if he fails, you wont see a westcoast nigga now fora long ass time, the album coming out in november?
i agree with the cat who said 300k will be the most he'll reach first week, wouldnt be suprised it was more like 200k....

I really do not pay attention to all this beef and personalities when it comes to buying a album. I am a G Unit/Aftermath/BWS/Shady/hip hop consumer and if the shit is fiyah, people will buy it. The average fan of music is not consumed with Game's tats or his album cover or how many people he had with him in the club when he beat up Ras Kass. Does he name drop? Yeah, but it sells so if it aint broke, don't fix it. I bought Banks, I will buy Bucks, 50's, Snoop's whatever. But I am about the west first and foremost so Game does get my support. west west yall.

I'm buying the best outta Snoop and Game, although i have a feeling its gonna be snoops i cop because snoops 20 x better than the game. I hope the game does go plat, but unless he gets a big club hit then he'll be lucky to go over 2 mil. A lotta of west coast cats will be looking towards snoop as the better album and if they have the choice im pretty sure most people will buy snoops.
Let It Ride is an ok song, average party hit and the hustlers dream clip sounded good but nothing huge like Hate It or Love It which imo is gonna be a west coast classic.

I'm not gonna read all that bullshyt...Game will move enough units to escape the "sophmore jinxs" that most rappers suffer from...the people who still buy albums aren't going to purchase the album just because Dr. Lazy isn't on it....You Dre "stans" are the worst...He's obviously doing something right because he has at least 10 threads about him on every hip hop/rap fourm you can think of...He's created a huge buzz for himself and everyone wants to see if he can do it again...All game needs to do is have the album release when it suppose and not push it bacc and continue with the radio friendly singles...

Don't underestimate Game's fanbase. He's got connections with G-Unit fans regardless of the beef, he's got Dre stans in love with him, and not to mention all of the suburban faggits that like to bump gangsta rap to feel hard.
That covers a lot of bases.
