Just curious to see y'all's opinions. And also, what song do y'all think Daz came the tightest lyrically on?
-
his best beats are, what would you do, 2 of amerikaz most wanted, an dogg pound gangstaz. His worst beat is Got My MInd made up, i hate that fuckin song, b/c of tha beat it seems like it drags on forever
-
The shit he did with JT was pretty bad also. I think his best beat is "Ain't no fun" (yeah i said it). He came tite all over tha chronic. Also on Big Pimpin.
-
i always thought that aint no fun was more of a warren G beat, not daz
-
I am convinced that Daz produced it. It's just an instinct.
-
ANY beat he made for Pac was blazin', especially Mind Made Up, Ambitionz Az A Ridah, and Life's So Hard.
-
Good Traccs:
Big Pimpin
Lets play House
Skandalouz
21 Jumpstreet

lmao @ you!
I see you've fallen victim to the streets.
I will (and always have) belive that track was produced by daz. I'm sure dre and warren were in there, puttin in work too, but originally, it was a daz track. I can just feel it.

you can "feel" as hard as you want but the fact of the matter warren g. even said he initionally produced it and dre remixed it
-
he was lyin
-
I'm just too damn stubbourn to believe you.
-
if it makes you feel anybetter daz coproduced murder was the case
-
I knew that already.
-
and I feel fine. How do you feel?
-
a little sleepy and hungry but i'll live
-
That's good to hear.

Daz did alot of shit on Doggystyle...Pleezbelieve it...That's why it's one of the best produced albums ever...Dre, Warren G, and Daz were in on it...Two of his best beats are Step Up from Streetz, and Downtown Assassins off of Doggfather...His worst include most of his recent stuff...

hate to break it to you but daz and warren only contributed 4 tracks which dre remixed in their final stages
-
Jake, I'm not dissagreeing with you at all, I have heard this too, but where did you get this information from? I mean, how do you know exactly what songs they did? Just wonderin, cause I've wanted to know this forever.
-

Don't try to play me homey
a lot of his bootlegged new shit hasn't been as good as some of daz's past work.
-
i know it's been in a couple of magazines and i heard it in a Dr. Dre chat (i think it was aol) where they asked him about that and that's what he said , and warren said something about it on MTV a while ago when Take a look over your shoulder came out
-

i think everything he did was tight! only a few bad ones...
lyric wise he came TIGHT AS FUCK on chronic, doggystyle, dogg food, streetz and retaliation but he still is tight.
i juss love this line: Diggytty Daz out of the cut wit some shit that i wrote, wit my nigga D.R.E. so you know it must dope.
TIGHT shit ;)
-
Don't get me wrong,i'm not hating on Daz.. but why did Death Row feel the need to bring in an outside producer for the big tracks on Tha Doggfather, and also before Dre was gone on Dogg Food.
In a post Dre Death Row era wouldn't you have expected Daz to step up to the plate?
The biggest tracks on Tha Doggfatha were Snoops Upside Ya Head and Vapors and the biggest on Dogg Food was New York, New York... all produced by an outside producer. DJ Pooh.
-
2 of amerikaz most wanted
no fear
-
best beat- what would u do
my FAVOURITE SONG OF ALL TIME , I said it!!
worst- probably loose cannons
but yo, i cant believe how many of yall hate on daz's work on DPG. i;ll admit, after a classic in dogg food, i thought RR+GB, and RAW were kinda disappointing, but Ill say it NOW!
after hearing DPG, im sayin it str8 up, daz is bck, mike dean done added an extra spark to daz's ass

and loose cannons is excellent

Daz is a tight producer
some of his best beats are:
most of the 2pac stuff (including 2 of Amerikaz most wanted 4 sure), Dogg Pound Gangstaz, Let's Play house, What Would U do
worst beats:
some of the stuff on him and JT, some on dillinger & young gotti
lyrically: Deftiniley, Definitley, "Deeez Nutz", he sounds tight there, also on "Doggy Dogg World" , "If we all Fuc"
