Title: Mack 10 and Nate Dogg off to slow start
Post by: SugeFight on December 10, 2001, 10:08:45 AM: As of 4:00 pm on Monday, Nate Dogg is at the #27 and Mack 10 is at #47 . Maybe theres just too much hip hop in the market and theyre all taking away from eachother sales. I dunno--

Still, i havent seen the video alot, and it is a good song but not the catchiest ever.....i honestly think "You're Woman HAs Just Been SIghted" would have been a lot better a s a single........

and at future shop they said they didnt have any but when i went there i found a copy on a shelf.
and at A&B sound they had some but they were all underneath the rap shelf.

Mack 10 has fallen out of the top 50. Nate has plummeted to the 30's. Cypress Hill is at 39, Cube at 47, Kast at 24, and De La Soul is NOWHERE to be found.

Why won't people buy Nate Dogg's album when he helped sell so many artists like Ludacris, Fabolous, Dre, Pharoah Monch etc and people still buy their shit. I think tommorow when I got out and buy Warren, I'll buy 3 mores copies of "Music & Me."

I have never seen the 'I Got Love' video and the only promotion I have ever seen is the small airplay of 'I Got Love' on the radio and the commercial for the album that shows during Rap City. Thats it.

Sales matter a whole lot.... If you don't sell records.. you end up like Ras Kass.. he's only dropped 1 album in six years.. and he's extremely talented....

I want my favorite artists to sell millions of records.. so I can read about them and see them on TV a little bit, instead of always hearing about N-Sync, Ja Rule, Jay-Z, and O-Town all day long.

Actually Ras Kass dropped 2 albums..Soul on ice and Rasassination....
