Pharrell is a dope producer along with Chad. I think his style is so unique that maybe where a artist like The Clipse sound perfect for the Neptunes style, Snoop sounds good only over some of the tracks. But it falls on Snoop, he wants the beats and picks them for the album. Must not be too bad, he had 3 singles by them that got heavy rotation.

Snoop is signed to Star Trek/Doggystyle so yeah Pharrell is going to have influence on it. No different than Master P on his first No Limit album. Snoop said in a interview he wanted to try a new style and he did. Now the fans will get more gangsta music I guess. Like I said some songs (Blow My Mind, Vato, Drop It Like Its Hot, Pass It, etc) work, others (Signs, etc) don't.

I think he's good. Snoop knew what he was doing working with pharrell so you can't blame pharrell. I think drop it like its hot is a classic snoop song and there has been some nice productions from pharrell and chad...

And that is why people are so critical of who Snoop works with. Dre n Snoop? You can't get much better than that. But they cannot work together even as much as Snoop would like. But Pharrell is smart enough to know that.

pharell annoys me when he is on a track, im fed up of hearing him attempting to sing and ruining a track by doing it.

The Neptunes have made good beats for sho. But overall they are too repetative, and not someone I would particularly enjoy hear do Snoop's beats. Nuff said.

come on now drop it like its hot was the biggest hit snoop has had probably ever. pharell is responsible for snoop's recent sucess and without his hits snoop wouldn't still be putting out big budget albums on a major label.

Actually numbers wise and radio spins it is. As far as fans opinions probably not.

Drop it like it's hot was a tight song. When they bring in the synth after making you wait da da da da-da-da. R&G sold almost 2 mil based on that song by the way.
