Title: Buccweet Signs Deal With Sony!

Another day, another signing. Yesterday we reported that one of the most promising West Coast talents Damani has signed to Sony. And just a few hours later we're happy to report the news about Damani's new labelmate: rapper Buccweet has signed a major deal with Sony too after a bidding war! The signing took place a few weeks ago, but the announcement doesn't come as a surprise. If you read our article on Buccweet back in August [see: New Music From Buccweet; Album Drops Next Year], you could tell there was something in the works.

The 818 rapper has been working on his upcoming album "Ask About Me" which he's now going to release with the help from Sony. The current release date for the album is February 27th and it's set to have a few heaveyweight collabos. The street single is called "Here We Go Again" and the official single is called "What You Like To Do". Of course Dubcnn has both songs available for download. We also have an extra song for you called "New Rapper" which is fresh out the studio.

Look out for Buccweet's mixtape soon which he's dropping in the meantime, entitled "Fix Your Face Vol. 3". Also look for Buccweet coverage in XXL, The Source, and Vibe Magazine soon.

true, bucwheet's tight wit my homies form infinit p'tenchul.......they played me the actually battel, it was judged by some of the visionaries, and he clearly won, no question............thats why dude changed his name to buck 50..........i actually liked buckweed back in the pharcyde days, his verse from 'on the dl' is classic........
