I dont like basketball at all, so i dont really have to read all those Laker topics. I Think it will benefit both sections cuz it get much more organized. And you dont have to read all the topics to find one about football or basketball.

No. Just because there is an offical thread, doesn't mean all related topics are restricted to that one thread. It's just to keep most of the stuff in there. When there is a topic that might appeal to more then Laker fans, then a seprate topic is okay. Gimme Punani is saying he would like the split so he would't have to see all the Laker threads, but there are only 5. It's really eassy to aviod.

I love both european football and basketball, so it's not a problem for me. At all. We should just try to make less topics and to use the forum as a message board to discuss things and not like a news station to get the latest news on sports. Example: don't open a topic for a single match! Open a "Premiership topic" and discuss all the results there. Something like that. I think there are too many "news" topic, that's the only problem with me. But i ain't bitching, i'm cool with the forum and that's my fav section at the moment, so everything you'll choose it's cool with me.

Actually, the gaming section is pretty civilized except for that little bitch that would suck off all the Nintendo executives if presented with the chance. With the exception of that bitch, it one of the most civil places on this site.

yes entertainment is in a slump.. the volume of posts in gaming section is improving... i want to ride out all the pre-xmas releases of consoles (wii+ps3 in the states, wii in europe) with the gaming section in place before i decide whether to merge it back with entertainment.
and i'm kinda feeling the TOT under g-spot idea.. but the idea was to have 3 non music based sections around 3 areas
- random fun shit (g-spot) + porn
- random entertainment shit, with sports gaming etc..
- random political, religious shit (the tot warzone)

And why should there be a basketball and "football" forum when there are hundreds of other sports. i'm actually cool with sports in general, being in one section. Oddly i think the Laker threads have decrease since creating the Sport section. Also i love the gaming section because being a gamer and others on the board as well i think it's tight how we can share information/knowledge just like how we all discuss music. It's the best of both worlds.

I like this, minus the football, basketball subsections. I like ToT being in G-Spot, but if that never happens, fine, and after Christman, I imagion that video games will be merged with entertainment, because right now everyone is gearing up for the console wars part 3, (SNES vs. Genesis vs. Turbo Grafix 16 being part 1, and PS1 vs. N64 vs. Dreamcast being part 2) People are taking sides, and all hell will break loose, but after Christmas, I would imagion it will go to normal.
There are not too many Laker threads, that's like saying there are too many Game threads in the regular forum, or too many threads about George Bush in ToT. This is a westcoast board, and the Raiders, Angels, Dodgers and Lakers will see a lot of love, since they are the most popular teams in Cali. People outside of Cali, who like westcoast music also tend to root for westcoast teams. No one was complaining about the Dodger post during the summer, and Americans don't complain too much about soccer. So the Lakers should be left alone. I mean, regular games should be in the offical thread, and huge news should have a seperate thread.
