If you enjoy twisted plot filled with hardcore gory-ness, then you will need to watch this movie. Although I won't spoil you movie-goers, this final chapter of trilogy will clear most of the confusion that you may have of previous movies. For those who do not know the movie may or may not understand because it will have some connections to story of that last two titles. It will be another "sinful" movie. Note: This is differently not for younger audience or those who have weak heart. Trust me.... it's beyond hardcore gory-ness. This chapter will clearly explains it all.....and very twisted.
rating:
story- 9/10
gory- 12/10

Saw 2 was a good movie.
Saw 3 is terrible. One of the worst movies I've seen this year.
-
Just saw it and i was really disapointed with the plot.THey scenes are were people get killed are good but thats about it.The plot really sucked in my opinon.
-
went and seen it lastnight...It was pretty good, but I liked TCM The Beginning better.

It was alright, it kept on reminding me about 21 Grams lol. Saw II has been my favorite out of the trio.
-
that shit was sick as fuck.
the writers have some crazy imagination & the trilogy have been the best movies in a long time imo

Personally I agree with Sikotic. The movie definately entertained me.... but the plot was weak. The 'twists' I had figured out 30 minutes into the film, then they went way out of their way to reveal things that were already revealed in the 2nd movie. It was like somebody telling you the inside story on something you don't care about. I think the writers were the only ones amazed at the revelations.
In the end though, a horror movie doesn't really NEED a good plot. It was still an entertaining movie, the first 2 were much, much better, especially the first.
-
I thought they over did some of the death scenes in Saw II. It was okay, but I enjoyed the first more, especially the twist at the end.
-
yeah i saw this last night and i must say it was pretty shitty. i would have left halfway through if my girl didnt wanna finish it.
-
I thought killing scenes were crazy.
-
they were all good but 2 was my favorite...this one was probably the most sick though as in gore
-
I think some horror filmmakers need to find a new way to creep out movie goers. When they go for the all out violence way of doing things, it doesn't really do it for me anymore these days. They just need to be more creative when it comes to building up a torture scene.
-
Yeah, they don't do enough psychological thriller stuff. They always resort to 2 things: 1. gore, and 2. shock, the shock is always just something flashed on the screen really fast or somebody jumps at somebody.
-

You really hit the nail on the head there. I didn't enjoy it too much, it was like a 45 minute movie, and they filled the rest of it up with "shocking" behind the scenes looks from the first two, and who gives a shit. The new death scenes were just too over the top, and they weren't as creative as the other ones. The first Saw wasn't all about torturing people really, it was a really well done psychological thriller. The 2nd and 3rd ones really exploit the touture element, and while the second one was still enjoyable, the third one was just bullshit.

I'm not trying to diss people in this thread, but anyone that watches the Saw movies is a lil disturbing and weird to me. Seriousley why the fuck would you want to watch movies so you can watch people get brutally tortured, does that gross shit give you a hard on or something. I dont get it, people are saying shit like yeat that torture scene was great but the other scene could of been more brutal, WTF! This type of shit goes on all over the world, I couldnt imagine taking pleasure in watching a movie that glorifies this crap.

You're kidding me, right?...The "Saw" franchise is some of the best horror films to come out in recent years...A must-see for any horror fan...And it's not about people getting brutally tortured, there's a point behind every film. ::)

Holy crap, you are more close-mided than I ever thought possible...The story behind "Saw" is amazing, Jigsaw is a seriel killer you've never imagined, and the movie is far from being about people getting "brutally tortured"...You're weak, stay out of the horror genre...PeACe

Why are people disappointed? The movie was good. The connections were good, the imagery was good, the plot was good, everything was good... This one gave you more of a feel for what's going on behind the scenes, how Jigsaw plots these "games" out, which I really enjoyed. All 3 movies were great and they all go hand-in-hand...IMO, "Saw 2" was the weakest and most meaningless of the 3, but was still a good film. I rate them like this:
"Saw" - 9/10
"Saw 2" - 8/10
"Saw 3" - 8.5/10
-
Saw 3 is a dope movie, better than the 2nd imo, anyway people never will be satisfied.. they wait for a classic each time they watch a movie, c'mon...

Spiggidy...What makes it better to watch a movie like "Texas Chainsaw", which is way more of a film about mindless torture than a movie like "Saw", which is actually very deep and meaningful?...Best example I've seen on this board of judging a book by its cover...PeACE
