If he releases an album under that name im pretty sure Vince Mcmahon will take gunit records to court coz i can almost garuntee McMahon has that trademarked or wotever its called because its on a hell of a lot of Rowdy Roddy Pipers merchandise, and McMahon has rights to EVERYTHING so why not that? Can someone confirm this or dis prove it? Im gona post it in Outbound and sports, because i feel it may come under both.
-
i would doubt Vince McMahon has the rights to "Hot Rod", as there was a transformer by that name circa 1982, im not sure when Rowdy Roddy Piper came out though
-
pipper is pretty old though...
-
It'll be a similar situation as with The Game.

im sorry but Hot Rod sounds hella suspect to me.. I dont know about yall but I really dont want to Hear/See/Touch anything with the name "Hot Rod" if it doesnt have 4 Wheels and a Engine in it.

Piper debuted w/ WWE around 83 or 84
WWE might have the rights to it, i posted the whole trademark thing in the other forum in Sports section
if they do have rights to it, WWE will not let it go and definitely go after it
