was limited and cut down to maybe, 10-12 tracks it could have been better? I was listening to it the other day and listened to tracks like "Im Back" and "Anarchy '87" and realized the shit overall had some potential. I know this has probably been brought up before, but sue me.
-
it's just boring, simple as that
-
Maybe if the original had dropped with all the tracks that got deleted. There were a few good cuts here and there but like West Coast said it is boring album overall.
-
I enjoyed it 8)

Daz released a DPG Recordz Against the Grain?
-
Against the Grain is better than all the other DPG members recent rap albums except for snoop.
-
The album was garbage. 2-3 good songs. Kurupt was miserable around that time, and it shows all over that album.
-

Same Day Different Shit>ATG
SSG>ATG
ATG did have some tight beats though. On alot of the tracks it sounded like Kurupt let his emotions take over the track. Shit just did not flow well at times.
-
Kurupt hasnt been a good rapper since 2002 IMO :-\

in 2002....

The Against The Grain advance with leftover Daz N Kurupt tracks was better than the Death Row Against The Grain. That was a generic ass album. The only track I was feelin was that Calico track.
-
If every track had been as good as Calico, it would have been a bangin' album. I do think the original suggustion of cutting it down to about 12 tracks would probably have made it better. There are some tracks on there that just sound like filler anyways. And I can't imagine anyone having trouble picking them out. Of course, if he had done that, there would be people on this forum and all the other ones asking if anyone has any of the rare tracks that were cut from "Against the Grain." For some reason, limiting a tracks availablity seems to make it more desirable, regardless of whether or not it is a good song.
