Post by: Murrow on November 30, 2001, 01:23:18 PM
We got this new thing comin, Big Jake, Infinite, Lil Jay and I, called Hip-Hop-Reviewed.cjb.net.

It's all about the writing part of the hip-hop culture.  We got tons of reviews and articles that will be up, along with album previews as the site grows.  That is our main focus, writing.  We want the best set of album reviews out there, in-depth shit.  No audio, or news updates, just the reviews to help peeps out.  We'll stay connected with WCC and our review forum as well.

We plan to launch this thang before Christmas, but we need one more writer aboard...

If you are a good writer, and knowledgible about the current hip-hop scene, hit me up @ XxIncognito2K@aol.com.  This site is open to anybody, West, East to down South and up the middle.  Once ya get @ me, I'll tell ya more about it.

Peace

Hmmm. We always liked having you around; that's why we posted your reviews even though they were a little too stiff for our site.  We figured you were down, so we could post them anyways, you were just trying to help.  Remember when you hit slumps and couldn't write reviews for a month or so, because you didn't know what to review?  We still had a spot for you.  Remember I made you that cd with all dre's unreleased stuff on it, and edited it, even put sound effects in it and mastered the damn thing, made a special one of a kind cover, just becuase you were my homie, and what did you do? You sold the damn thing on the board here.  Man, you're tripping, exactly how long have you been talking shit about us, and when did you get the idea that you were god's gift to album reviews?  Man, you're tripping, and remember, you quit, you weren't fired.

Oh, I also just remembered the time I bought the dpg cd "raw" for you, sent it to you, and you sent me back 10 bucks to pay for it.  I didn't trip though.  Now, explain to me why you don't want "anything to do with us" anymore.  Please.

Dammit Trauma, shut the Hell up.  I still have that Dre CD and I never Sold it or made a copy of it.  If you want your fuckin 3 bucks back than fine, give me your adress, cause I forgot it.  I sent you tapes of unreleases stuff, but you prolly haven't even peeped it yet.  I use to have the most respect for you intil you stopped talkin to me and flooded this board with Jacko posts.

I never "talked shit" about you.  I never even talk to you.  I never made it out that "I was fired."  I did quit, and the time I was ghost was because I wasn't even in this country @ the time.  Your fuckinm trippin, I only left the site once, and that was a few weeks ago.

I was the only one who didn't have access to post reviews whenever I could of.  Then all these new guys came in and they had the power to do what the fuck they wanted over me.  You then turned all underground on me and hooked up with Siccness.  I put in the MOST FUCKIN WORK besides B-Please, in one year I hooked you guys up with 20+ reviews/articles.  Y'all wanted to quit @ the time.  I remember.

And Logic, eat a dick for opening your mouth and instigating this shit.

Fuck You Both

Peep my articles and reviews @ wckillaz.com

LOL @ Prick.

We'll keep the rest of the stuff that happened hush hush.  Did you, or did you not try to sell that cd?  I saw the post you put up, and everybody asked you whether the stuff was cdq.

Yeah, i've got your tape, I already had all the songs on it, but I kept it becuase I thought it was cool you would do that.  Too bad I can't say the same about you.

BTW, Do you know HTML?  Then how can you post your fu*king articles?  And you put in the most work besides bplease? Please.

Well, good luck with your new site, we saw it coming anyways, ever since you lied to us about your age to get on the site, lol.

Peace

Lets Not Start With Mindless Name Calling Though.

Man, Incognito, I'm glad Everybody's getting to see your pms mood swings.  Can yall imagine the hell it was having this guy on our site, trying to help him feel better about himself everytime some girl dissed him at school?  And I find it incredibly insightful how you stoop to dissing michael jackson instead of me, like we're somehow connected or something, LOL.  He's an easy target, but why don't you say something negative about me, instead, get real, ya know?

Frankly, you don't fit with our site.  Why? Because you only know Eminem, Dr. Dre, and Snoop dogg.  Anything below that, you don't want to mess with.  Sorry, but we run a little deeper than that, and I'm sorry if that hurt your feelings that we actually care about non-dpg artists, lol.  You claim to know a lot about music, but your shallowness is incredible.  I'm a musician, I play guitar, bass, piano, and drums so it's not hard for me to admit someone like Celly Cell, or X-raided, Or Lil CS, Or Michael Jackson, or Beethoven has talent, you know what I mean?  Oh, wait, you DONT know what I mean, because at 16 you think you're above me, because you overanalyzed dr. dre's latest cd.  Please.  Music is music.  Our site focuses on westcoast music, and dr. dre is not entirely representative of westcoast music; he's just a prominent part.  I'm sorry if that infuriates you, but go sign up @ ww.dr-dre.com if you only want to talk about him.

BTW, why did you say you weren't signing up on our board, but did earlier today?  Lemme go delete your membership for you, you must have forgot you don't want anything to do with us anymore.

*awaits incognitos response calling me a little boy cause im a year younger than him*

If you cared the slightest bit, you wouldn't be posting here again, wanting to have me back.  We know you become very offensive when someone disses Michael Jackson and you lash out like your his Father.  You don't know me at all, what you said about me being a close minded person and only paying attention to Dr. Dre, shows how much you think you know what I listen to.  There are people who I respect much more than Dr. Dre, but you guys only see me in this board, never outside where I talk about and post about other music too.

Why don't you go and post @ a Jacko or Beatles board instead of bringing it here?  Do they reject you over there and so you try and stuff that shit in our face?

You couldn't be anymore wrong Trauma.

So Much Style - You are the most ignorant person I've come to see.  I know you didn't read the previous posts to know what's going on, you just started suckin Trauma'a cock cause I hate you, and this is a one on one battle.  How could you agree with Trauma when he just attacked everyone younger than him.  You can't agree with him, cause all you care about is Rap and what's the next CD I can Bootlegg.  I'll ignore anything you ever have to say on this board.

Um... I didn't diss young people.  I said you're a little big for your age, that's the truth.  Jake, delete this if you want, but who determines he gets the last word?  Again, why are you dissing musicians, incognito?  Diss me.

And narrator, i'm glad to see you also notice incognito doing that.  We used to wait months for a review from him, and he'd just wait until the next dre/snoop/eminem related project came out.  LOL.

Anyways, i'm wasting my time, i just feel offended that he's been talking sh*t about 'not wanting anytning to do with us'.  And he tried to sell a cd I made him as a gift, that's bitchmade.  I'm sorry, but it is.  How can you get mad at narrator for botting a cd when you tried to sell the one I made you?  LOL, god.  That's fine though, now I know what you're made of, and you're right, I don't see you on the street, lol... that's a good thing.

Trauma, you've turned this into a mutherfuckin soap opera.  Why did you have to be a bitch and not say a word about me leaving till now?  Is this your excuse for posting here again?

I don't know what the hell your talkin about by saying, "I diss muscians."  Okay, putting words in my mouth, AGAIN!  I never tried to sell that CD, your just sayin shit again.  LOL, and I'm way more fuckin muscial than you, so shut the hell up and go cry.  You don't know me, get the fuck off my back.

What's this shit bout seeing me in the street?  I seen where you live, it ain't Compton.

Overall, I haven't been talking shit about you.  I've talked to Logic, the only one who seems sane. I said I didn't want to be apart of your underground movement with wckillaz, I don't know or listen to that type of music.  If that's talkin shit than fuck off.

I have respect for both of ya'll, and since ya'll put this on the forum for everybody, instead of handling it on your own, I feel it's okay for me to drop my opinion.........

PEACE... Put your Peace signs in the air.  Put your best foot forward, let your higher self shine through, and let's have PEACE.  Both of ya'll are good people man.  Incognito always spoke highly of Trauma.  And he was hurt when Trauma started to ignore him.  Until now Trauma just left dude in the dark about everything.  Trauma was upset about Incognito trying (or not, I don't know) to sell that cd, and about Incognito lying about his age, but he should of let dude know instead of leaving him in the dark.  They're was alot of fucked up shit said in that argument on both sides.  Let's have Peace...Squash it.  One Love, One Life, One God, One Nation....

                 Xzibit "Restless"

1.Intro/Restless - 3.5/5 Almost jacks Rakims Intro from "Tha Master"

2.Front 2 back - 4/5 Nice Beat by Rockwilder, nice flow to it by Xzibit.

3.Been a Long Time - 4/5 Nice and smooth beat by Battlecat. Nate makes the song A LOT better

4.U Know - 4.5/5 Nice Dre Beat. One of Dre's best verses in a while. Xzibit came tight

5.X - 5/5 Dope ass Dre beat, Dope ass lyrics, Classic track. Snoop coulda' done a Little more than talk

6.Alkaholik - 4/5 I love this track, especially Erick Sermons dope Beat.

7.Kenny Parker - 2.75/5 Whack track, shoulda' been replaced by "Year 2000." The beat is WAY too repetative and quite, and Xzibits rhymes are whacker than usual.

8.Drugs N Alkohal (DNA) - 3.5/5 A perfect example of an OK track. Beat starts off nice. Xzibit steals the show from Snoop

9.Double Time - 3.5/5 Nice track. The idea of it sounds like something DMX or Juvenile would do, but still nice lyrics

10.Dont Approach Me - 4.5/5 You can actually feel this track. Eminem steals the show, even though Xzibit comes off tight also. Eminem shows his true emotions on the mic like never before, and also showcases his production skills

11.Rimz N Tirez - 3.75/5 Another OK track. Damn, Butch Cassidy is tight!

12.Fuckin' You Right - 3.25/5 Not as bad as people make it out to be. I like the humor, but he doesn't show his lyrical talen. He uses the DMX method (In other word, rhyming names). I guess he needed a pussy song despretly

13.Best of Things - 5/5 I love this track, from dre's beat, to X's lyrics, to the smooth chorus...CLASSIC

14.Get Your Walk On - 5/5 Wow! Two classic tracks in a row. Battlecats GREATEST beat ever (Some help from Mel Man). One of my favorite tracks in a while. I just love this beat, and again Xzibit's lyrics fit perfect

15.Sorry I'm Away - 4/5 Nice tracks, Xzibit could'a done a 3rd verse instead of having DJ Quik and Suga Free on the track. But nice follow up to the classic track "The Foundation"

16.Loud and Clear - 4/5 I think Battlecat shows his production skills again with this one. Everyone comes off tight. and I love Butch cassidy on this one

Overall - 8/10 Dope Album, Recomended for any REAL WestCoast Hip Hop Fan

Eazy E "Eazy-Duz-It"

Produced By Dr Dre and DJ Yella

"Intro" - Nice Intro, very Original, it's been copied many times, but this is one of the greatest Intro's, very classic 5/5

1."Still Talkin" - Nice track to Introduce the album. Eazy E talking a bunch of shit, and tellin everyone he's the most gangsta of all. 4.5/5

2."Nobody Move" - Classic track, nice lyrics, nice beat. 5/5

3."Ruthless Villian" - Another tight track. Supposedly a freestyle. MC Ren and Eazy E trade off lines, and both come off tight. Probably should have been the last track because MC Ren says "Yo Dre how much longer we got on this tape?" . 4.75/5

4."2 Hard Mutha(fucka)'s" - Wow! 2 Eazy E/MC Ren callabo's in a row, this one is even better, another tight/classic track 5/5

5."Boyz N Tha Hood (Extended Remix)" - This track is too much for words. This is what started it all, the first big Single in West Coast Hip-Hop, way back from "NWA And The Posse" in 1987. It was probably placed on too many CD's but this is the best version yet. One of the greatest Hip Hop tracks ever, written by Ice Cube said by Eazy E. Above classic track. 5+/5

6."Eazy-Duz-It" - I love this track, one of my favorites on the album. Classic .
5/5

7."We Wan't Eazy" - No cusses on this one, cuz it's meant for the radio, but even that can't stop him from bringing us a dope ass track 4.75/5

8."Eazy-Er Said Than Dunn" - This is a classic track, Eazy-E, once again, tells us who he is, I belive this shoulda' been track number 1, but hell, I really could care less, as long as it made tha lbum, Classic 5/5

9."Radio" - Another tight track about the Radio. A bunch of tight samples used on this one. 4.75/5

10."No More ?'s" - Wow, three tracks without 1 cuss word from the late great Eazy E? I know it's hard to belive, but who the fuck cares, Eazy E rips this one also. Only problem is that theres too much talking between the verses. 4.5/5

11."I'mma Break it Down" - Probably the worse track on this whole CD. But what the fuck? It's still tight as hell! 4/5

12."Eazy Veres 8 chaper 10" - Nice Outro, nothing REALLY special 4/5

Overall - As you can see this one is a straight classic, a MUST have for any real Hip Hop fan. One of my top 5 favorites of ALL TIME...With MC Ren and Ice Cube writing lyrics, and Dre producing, how can you go wrong? Every Hip Hop Head needs to have this classic. 9.9/10
