Just think about recent dre beats
Mary J.
Bilal Sally and Fast Lane (2 songs)
Busta break, full moon, truck (3 songs)
Eve - blow ya mind, and that other song (2 songs)
Then look at the nate dogg album
1 decent dre beat for nate dogg
nate dogg who was on the og chronic and 2001
none of those east artists were on the og chronic and only one was on 2001
yet he gives more and better beats to the east
and kurupts album
zero dre beats and his last album had one but it was one that was also on 2001
and snoops last had 3 which was the same as busta
someone please tell me why he gave the same amount to busta as he did snoop
then he also only gave one to warreng
this was understandable since warren wants to be his own producer.
and why did he give such a hot ass beat to wack 10
someone who critized dre when dre wasnt as hot.
BUT TO BE TOTALLY HONEST DRE BROUGHT BACK THE WEST AND IS KEEPING THE EAST ALIVE.

look at , the chronic2001, lay low , hennessey n buddah etc ...
-
im talking recent and 2001 doesnt count duh thats dres album of course he is gonna put his best on his own
-
i noticed that to, i think he just wants to expand into new types of shit. I still think he could have done better for snoops album.
-
he could do more for snoop n them yah. But i gotta give it to him for tha fact, he puttin HIS name on everybody'z albums. he respnsible for a lotta tracks in tha east doin well. but he still let it be known he frum tha west. so thas good. west coast producer, makin it big on eastcoast trackz n eastcoast radio. we usually get hated on out thea...but he doin it.

Don't forget about his D12 - "Devils Night" productions,
"Nasty Mind", "Ain't Nuttin' But Music", "Fight Music" & "Relevation".
All dope as fuck, except "Nasty Mind". Peace
-
its not a matter of better beats but its the quantity of the beats he gives to the east. all dre beats that are released(& Unreleased) are dope as fuck.
Peace 8)
-
Look @ "The Wash" and "Str8 West Coast." Dre knows what he's doin, a lot of the beats are 2001 leftovers that he hands out to non-WC artists, my guess atleast.

anyway you look @ it, dre's done 3 tracks in the past 3 years with busta, and he's done what, about 12 with Snoop? He's not doing more for the eastcoast. Peace

I dont even see why you're turning it into a WestCoast/Eastcoast thing? Bilal? Mary J Blige?... They're probably from the East Coast but it's not like they represent it. They aint even rappers.
I dont mind Dre working with people outside the Wast... he's gonna do his thang. But it always is nicer to hear him work with West Coast acts.
-
Yall can talk about this east coast/west coast thing all u want, but nothing will ever change the fact that his best produced album ever is DOGGYSTYLE. That will alwayz be his musical masterpiece. ALWAYZ.
