OK. I had to post this, because I am a little shocked by this. I highly doubt he'll be nominated, but apparantly Knoc is being considered for best rap performance by a duo or group for his "Rappin' With The Hustler" track (wasn't featured on the return of the hustler album, but was released before this LP, as a single type of EP). The label that dropped that LP broke this news. See for yourself.

are you serious? All you have 2 do is send something to the grammy ppl (lol, not sure what they're called) and your automatically considered for a grammy?

theres like a difference between being considered, and nominated. Being considered, is equivalent to just submitting your music to even be possibly considered for the nominations. if you dont submit your music/application then theres no chance of you winning a grammy. If Jay-Z made the biggest song ever, and didnt submit his app for a grammy, then there will never be a way he can get one.
sending in your music is just so th at your music is joined in the pool of everyone else's music to be considered for the final nominations of the grammys. like Knocturnal can get his music considered, but i highly doubt anyone would vote him for a nomination.
it goes like
1. sending in your music/application
2. Considered (after they receive your music, and determine that its legitimate)
3. voting takes place and nominations are determined
4. once nominations are determined, then the final winner.

wow, that is sad. That's kinda stupid, that the artists themselves have to submit themselves. The label is making a big deal, yet they prolly had the artists themselmes submit it, so they can tout thier own horn. Sad.
