Yeah i dl wmp11. But its still not working. I used these 2 guides:

http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/systemuse/xbox360/digitalmedia/pc.htm

http://www.xbox.com/en-US/pcsetup/xpsp2.htm

So i connected my 360 to my pc using a ethernetcabel. It works my pc reckognizes my 360 and the other way around.
But when i go to wm11 to ''share media'' it doesnt show my 360 in the list (it doesn show anything). But when i run a test on my 360 it says thats its connected (i think).

Im going to post it on the official xbox forums and see what they say.

hmmm.. i dunno... it took me like 3 months to finally get it to work... i tried before using windows media connect before and the 360 didnt show up in the list either... i tried everything, read thru alot of posts on the official forums, it seems like ALOT of people are having problems with this. nothing is ever easy with microsoft.

btw, do u have live and which games do u play?

- Ghost Recon
- Pro Evolution 6

And i also got:

- Oblivion
- Dead Rising
- Top Spin

But i hardly play the other games since i got pro 6.

That still happens to me sometimes, I'm not sure whats up with that... But what I usually do is click back into single player so it loads that up, then go back into multi-player and they should show up, that works 99% of the time for me.

i personally used the XP media edition to stream everything through media center

im gunna be buying this 300 gig USB hard drive for 100 bucks sometime to put all of my video files/music/pictures since for some reason the 360 that I have will let me listen to music from the iPod but not videos?? fuck it though

Another question, and this could be fuckin stupid. Ok i always assumed i had the hard drive but when i went to "find the item" talking about maps i d/ld it said "make sure storage device is hooked up" or something like that, what does tht mean? Coz i save it in the only place it gives me an option, the hard disc, or hard drive or whatever...ok this prolly sounds like rambling to most people so if anyone knows what am talkin about it would help.

Did you buy the premium version of the 360 (the 400 dollar one or the 300 dollar one)?
