It's been about a year since it dropped & I'm still feelin' this album since when it 1st came out...I lost my 1st copy but I was able to get another copy of it this month..."So Gangsta", "Keep It Hood" & "The Testimony" are my favorite tracks off the album, I was surprised he didn't use "Keep It Hood" or "Step Yo Game Up" as singles after "The Testimony", I think they could've helped the album sell a little bit...

One of his best albums, if not the best. Because he did it all on his own for the most part. No Ice Cube or WC. And the beats were bangin. Fred aint no joke behind the boards.
-
Yea, Agreed. 1 of his best, if not his best. Fred Wreck is a monster on the boards indeed. He came off suprisingly well without cube & wc. It is what it is tho, mack's a vet, he don't need cube or wc 2 make banging music. it's actually laughable anyone was actually comparing bang or ball to this 1 (that or paper route is his worst effort). To the 1st guy, can you even count Testimony as a single? he didn't even bother shooting a video. Anyone know what the final sales figures are for it? doubt it's selling these days anyway.

^They played it a lot on the radio here earlier this year, but I guess he didn't want to do a video for it...
-
Yeah they played it alot out here too. He had plenty of singles to choose from. Just kinda dropped and that was it. Like This got a couple of spins but that was it.

^Right...yeah I was hoping that after "The Testimony" he could've used "Keep It Hood" or "Ride Out" with Chingy on it...

Testimony >>> Great track
-
I don't really like this album.... maybe I gotta give it more spins
-
I heard it for the first time yesterday i dont think ill be listing to it again.... Basd on a true story is his best work imo.

DOME SHOT!!!!
Fuck a bitch nigga he ain't shit to me / put his thinkin cap in his lap instantly
-
shit deserves props no doubt. a real solid effort, the record surprised me alot.
hella slept on too, well in on making a thread- maybe a few more heads will check for it now
-
Very slept on. I think most people thought Ice Cube had more to do with Mack's success than him. But I think Hustla's Handbook is a little bit better than Laugh Now Cry Later. Definitely better beat wise, but Mack has always had bangin beats on his albums. Hopefully him and Cube can link back up.

This album was a big dissapointment....I think the album is pretty bad and has next to no replay value....No way this album is seeing Cube's LNCL album....Hope he drops something better in the near future.
-
On second thought, it is up there with LNCL. ;D

Dope album.
