Next week, it’s an old-fashioned hip-hop battle between the coasts as Compton rapper The Game’s Geffen album Doctor’s Advocate, in which he offers the olive branch to both Dr. Dre and 50 Cent, goes up against Steve Rifkind’s SRC find, Akon, the Senegal-born, New Jersey-raised star whose Universal Motown album Konvicted features two huge crossover smashes with Eminem (“Smack That”) and Snoop Dogg (“I Wanna Love You”). Both albums could do between 300-350k in first-week sales when they hit the street next Tuesday (Nov. 14). And then, on Nov. 21, right before Turkey Day, it’s Super Tuesday with Jay-Z, The Beatles, Tupac, Snoop and U2 all landing on retail shelves.

^^^^ Yep, that's pretty realistic... Game will do these kind of numbers

I wouldnt be surprised if its a little more... Nobody expected him to sell as much as he did the first week with Documentary either.. everybody was surprised when the numbers came in!

There is no way Game will sell that much. He sure as hell won't top Jay-Z - shit, even Akon might chart higher. None of Game's singles have become Top 10 hits yet, and they probably won't in the next week.

Dude, these numbers are from their previous lps... about singles, they 're a indicator but you can have a hit and flop crazy...

True, but if your singles don't blow, it's probably a safe bet you're gonna sell really well the first week and then plummet off the charts your 2nd week.

Nowadays 95% of the albums got a very important decrease in sales 2nd week.. Justin singles got crazy spins but he still had a 60%+ drop in the 2nd week.. the most important thing imo is that your sales have to be maintaned around the same amount in the 3rd, 4th , 5th and one or two more weeks ... but yep these depends A LOT on your singles so your point is valid 8)
