I don't even remember seeing this, but it was on ESPN. In the game vs. the Hawks, Lebron walked off the court with 10 seconds to go. Was he upset that his team lost to the Hawks? Yes. But why isn't anyone making a big deal out of this? When Randy Moss walked off the field a few years ago, people looked at him like he was a fuckin murderer. Double standard?
-
That's a true team leader for ya.

The media and David Stern are so on LeBron's nuts it's not surprising that they would take down Moss but not James.
-
Randy Moss> Lebron James
-
Damn Lebron why you do that?
-
LOL...Just imagine what would happen if Kobe did this...Career-suicide.
-
LOL at the NBA and ESPN making no big deal out of this, thats fuckin lame, just cause they got their head's up lebron's ass doesnt meen they should be biased. What a joke, I dont like Moss cause of his attitude but yeah you guys are right he got blasted on ESPN for doing the same thing but not a mention when LJ does it ::)
ESPN = A joke now, they should try doing something else besides constantly trying to ruin Barry Bonds legacy and kissin Wade and Lebrons ass.

I think we Laker fans should start to ignore him, Wade, Carter, Allen, Shaq, Bell.. them all. As a Laker fan i'm really happy about my team, the potential of our young players and the leadership of Kobe and Phil Jackson. That's what i really care about. Fuck the media, the MVP trophy and what other people say.

That's real. I'm just wanna see what excuse these Lebron groupies are gonna come up with. Like Nik said, if Kobe would've walked off the court...

there's 1 reason why lebron fans dont care much about this...he's never done anything like this before

Do you really care about Lebron groupies? Don't waste your time.

Kobe hasn't either, doesn't mean the media wouldn't destroy him if he did... ::)

I see what you're saying...the media has always been on Kobe nuts (not a good way either)...so of course if Kobe did this...he'd get killed in the media becuase they've always thought of him as selfish/bad leader etc etc
while the media calls Lebron an angel, next jorden..blah blah blah....thats how the media views both players..so thats why the media isn't killing lebron...but if he does something like this agian...there's no way they can ignore it.

Did he walk off when the clock was stopped or when it was being dribbled out?

LeBron miffed at criticism (http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sports/basketball/bulls/cs-061109bullsbrite,1,1593886.story?coll=cs-bulls-headlines','23')
Cavs' star says he didn't quit on team
CLEVELAND -- Players start slapping palms with opponents and casually strolling toward their respective benches near the end of many NBA games that already are decided.
When LeBron James does it, it's front-page news.
James was vilified in some circles for walking toward his bench after he missed a three-pointer with 15 seconds remaining of Cleveland's overtime loss to Atlanta on Tuesday. The other nine players went the other direction and crossed half-court as Atlanta dribbled out the clock.
Speaking for the first time since the incident blew up, James denied that he left the court and, more vehemently, that he deserted his teammates.
"I stayed on the court until the buzzer and even said something to Joe Johnson on his way out," James said. "It's a simple fact it was kind of frustrating to lose that game. But as far as quitting on my teammates, that's crazy."
James, deified since high school, knows all about scrutiny and said the criticism doesn't bother him.
"I know what kind of player I am and how I approach the game," James said.
Bulls coach Scott Skiles believed too much was made of the story, saying James shouldn't be singled out for something that occurs with frequency.
"It wasn't like [the Cavs] were pressing," Skiles said. "I think it's a non-issue."
But Skiles also flashed his old-school roots.
"I've seen Reggie Miller score eight points in nine seconds (actually 16), so it has happened," Skiles said. "I'm not sure why any player would not stay with it right until the buzzer sounds."
James added one more thought.
"If we would have won the game, it never would have been mentioned," James said.

lebron is young , yeah , but he's like a month older than me , and IIIIIIII know not to do that. if i ever did that in highschool my coach would've bitten off my balls with a platnum vampire grill like rza's
-
lebron made a mistake and so did moss. it was out of frustration due to the circumstances of losing but with both being the leaders of their team they shouldve known better. knowing that however no one is perfect and the media making a big deal out of this is pathetic and is just the type of thing the media does. i read somewhere that lebron did wait till the clock ran out so that does change it a bit but nonetheless just a poor decision on his part but he does have a point if they were winning and he did the same thing there would be no issue. and if kobe did this he would get nailed to the cross.
-
what an asshole
-
If he started to walk off while the clock was being dribbled out, players always start coming to greet each other so what if Lebron went off the game was over
-
I guess u didn't watch ESPN the same day as me....they talked about that shit ALL day. They weren't really dissin him hard for it, but they DEFINITELY questioned the hell out of it, and kept talkin about it and showin it.
