Post by: West Coast Veteran on November 30, 2001, 10:28:40 AM
Does anybody remember this track?
It was a R&B song that came out in '92 or '93. I can't remember.
Just wondering what y'all thought about this song?

DRS are the biggest studio gangstaz on the planet but the song was ill IMO.

This song..is dedicated..to my homies..in the gangsta lean.....

Tight track. Though most of the teeny boppers that post here would be too young to remember.

I remember that song.  Still one of my favorites.  If you want to look at it from a certain view, they were the first ones to blow up by mixing Gangsta tales with R&B.  I know Nate was on The Chronic before that, but he didn't have a solo album.  Plus, TQ didn't have his one hit until 1998.  I still have that CD.  My favorite songs on there were Beat Down and Gangsta Lean (of course).
