I just wanted to introduce you to album which is something a little bit out of the ordinary. "Gangstarock" is the title of this album and it was done by a skater called Chris Gentry and Kokane in 2000/2001.
Now this is a rare ass record so when I bought I was really just getting it as a piece of my funk-collection. But this album turned out to far exceed my expectations: it really is *GANGSTAROCK*!! Kokane walks uncharted land with this one and it is DOPE. Admitted; its kindda peculiar at first to hear him bust about Harley D's and Route 66 but when he goes into these weird Axl Rose/BLowfly kindda trances you cant help but to love it. That makes this piece a FUNK-EXTRAVAGANCA!!!
Check out the 3 tracks and drop some feedback!
