Title: I truely never thought I would say this, but...
Post by: acgrundy on November 13, 2006, 05:27:08 PM
I've officially joined The Game bandwagon.  Doctors Advocate is fuckin hot!  I thought the documentary was nothing special, but DA is dope as fuck for an album nowadays.  Its a nice westcoast album.  The song California Vacation is straight banging.  I didn't listen to any of the tracks before the entire album leaked, and One Blood is also dope as fuck.

That's cool man. It's good to have a open mind. Whether you listen to it and dig it or not.

I'm not gonna say The Documentary is better Than Doctor's Groupie because I'll have a grip of G-Unit stans trying to rape my moms, but I find the new album more enjoyable.

Documentary > DA   Its not even close IMO, Game's name dropping gets way to annoying in DA its even worse than before and thats why I barely ever play it.  Game picks great beats and makes real good songs but he's nothing special lyric wise in fact hes kind of poor in that area.

Mee too. ;D

For some reason, I'm not to into DA. I like The Game and I tried to like it, but it hasn't really grown on me. I'll buy the album regardless, but I thought I'd fall in love with it the second I heard it.

I bought the album yesterday and I hadn't heard a single track apart from his two singles (One Blood and Let's Ride), and I gotta say that I like what I'm hearing. It's too early to give an 'analysis' of a new album after having listened to it but once, but I'm really feeling the beats on this album - it definitely has a West Coast sound. Also Game's flow and lyrics are on point...

Love is in the air, love is in the air, oh, oh, oh, oh, uh,
uh, uh, uh.
Love is in the air, in the rising of the sun,
love is in the air, when the day is nearly done,
and I don't know if you are illusion,
don't know if I see truth,
but you are something that I must believe in,
and you are there when I reach out for you.

This statement is retarded cuz there were more name drops on The Documentary than it was on Doctor's Advocate, someone counted all the name drops on both albums and Doctor's Advocate only had half of what The Documentary had.

even if that is the case, he should have improved his shit up to where his name dropping became at a minimum.  so Spice's statement is not "retarded," homie.   :)
