Title: IGN reviews first 4 wii games (Updated w/Super Monkey Ball and COD3 Review!)

IGN just posted the first 4 reviews for nintendo wii

I thought there were more then 5 games for wii sports :(

nah but each has 3 extra modes for training, along with multiplayer.. and wii play has 8 games


update: read the reviews now..

wii sports sounds better and better... its funny the two games i wanted most in wii sports fare the worst in reviews so far... i'm dying for a golf game.. if wii sports golf doesnt cut it i may drop red steel at launch and get super swing pangya thingy

Yeah, you're better off getting a more comprehensive golf game if that's what you are after.

I really hope none of you actually thought wii sports was going to be a great game or something. Its sole purpose is to show off the remote. I'd say it will hold your interest for a couple days and youll throw it on the shelf and forget about it. I'm actually surprised it even got a 7.5 considering how bare bones the game is.

^ everybody knows that..  what i gotta ask is WHY do you feel the need to drive a moot point home?

also.. i think from this that maybe Golf isn't as "pick up n play" as the other games.. but may as they stated have more depth once you actually learn to play it..

It just that it seems wii sports is more anticipated around here than actual great games like zelda and red steel lol

If you buy a wii and don't buy those games (at least zelda) then you just wasted $250.
