Title: The Mixtape DJ

I was thinking, what makes a mixtape DJ?  I was talking to a my boys and we came up with a list.

1.  Never actually mix on your tape

2.  Remember to include a popular mc's freestyle that is really a pre-written passed off as a freestyle

3.  Make sure your DJ name is kind of corny (DJ CLue, DJ ENvy)

4.  The exclusive track will no longer be an exclusive track a week from now.  Almost always, it is a leaked song.

5.  Scream like a damn idiot before, during, and after the song liked this:

 DJ Clue!!! (irritating echo )  Desert Storm!!!  (another irritating echo)

please add on if you want to.   ;)

6. Take a legendary instrumental (i.e. Gin & Juice, Machine Gun Funk) and let some sucka ass newcomer (Fabolous, Lil Wayne) spit his embryonic shit over it.

7. Make sure that all cuts by shitty rappers are like 5-7 mins long, and all dope rappers (i.e. Method Man, Kool G Rap) got to get like 30-40 seconds. You're a king at mixtaping, if those microscopic cuts are edited.

8. Instead of at least crossfading the songs, cover the pause between em with one stupid sound (i.e. thunder) ALL over the tape.

9. Make sure your cover is a picture of you in some stupid ass pose with fake jewellery on and a wannabe-gangsta expession on ya face.

When you narrate a song, dont forget to mistake what area an MC reps, i.e.

"NEXT UP!!! BUSTA RHYMES!!! REPRESENTING BRONX!!! WITH HIS HIT SQUAD FAMILY!!! D. J. CLUE!!!! NEW SHIT!!!"
