I can't believe this hasn't been posted on here. J.D. Drew opted out of the final three years of his contract for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He will not be getting resigned.

Lol yeah right. If this really happened, post a link!
(Now we know what it would've felt like if we were alive and had the internet in the 1940s)

Then you don't know shit about baseball. He didnt do shit for you in the first year of his contract because of injury, but when he played he performed well. He was a very productive player this year and you WILL be missing him once the season starts because I don't know who you're going to pick up that is even close to being as productive as JD.
That said, I would love to have JD back in a Braves uniform, but it can never happen :'(

Again that asshole didn't do shit. Fuck him I'm glad he's gone. LOL at saying I don't know shit about baseball.

Anyone that can't see the value of JD Drew must not know much about it. When hes healthy hes a great player that can't be replaced at the drop of a hat.
-
He was the Dodgers' best hitter last year, we will be lucky to end up with someone that can replace his production

That's key right there. He's too injury prone, and IMO to passive at the plate.

This past season he was healthy and performed well, so why are you so mad? Hes been healty 2 of the last 3 seasons. I'd take the risk on him if there was a way to get him back with the braves (and kick that fucker francoeur out into the street).
-
^^ I just never liked him. I feel he's too passive at the plate.

Well, once you've had to sustain two years of Jeff Francoeurs ugly/disturbing at-bats, you start to love hitters that are too patient lol.
