Diplomats member Freaky Zeeky was released from the Durham Correctional Center in Durham, NC this morning (November 20).

According to SOHH sources present at the scene, a crowd of inmates looked on behind a barbwire fence as a black Chrysler 300c stretch limo rolled up to pick up Zeeky around 8 a.m. this morning. The Harlemite reportedly made his exit quite brief, hugging his manager, Rick and an unidentified Harlem, NY woman before hopping in the vehicle.

Zeeky was released after serving over two years for reportedly trafficking ecstasy. He was convicted on February 5, 2004. For the past six months, Zeeky has been released for one block of six hours every weekend. The conditions of his momentary release stipulated that he had to stay in public places during the six hours.

At the time of his release, Zeeky was headed to the Raleigh, NC airport for a flight to New York City where his Dipset crew was reportedly awaiting. Zeeky plans on returning to North Carolina for two parties in Raleigh this weekend. Word is he'll be spending $75,000 of his own money for the fiesta. Cam'Ron, Juelz Santana, Jim Jones, JR Writer and the rest of the Dipset crew are expected to be on hand while DJ Drama will be behind the turntables.

As previously reported by SOHH, Zeeky is currently working on his forthcoming debut solo album. There's no word on when the album is expected to hit stores.
