......on Blue carpet treatment? i feel like snoop and akon's track easily surpassed snoop and nate on crazy. yes, akon had the dre beat but still, beat aside...akon and snoop just came harder...i felt like nate's hook on crazy sucked ass. too bad, i was really hoping for a better snoop and nate track >:( thoughts?

Nate was OK on that hook, but wasted really. I wouldn't say Akon beat Nate, but Akon is getting the better beats and lyrics at the moment.
That hook didn't do Nate justice.

Yeah I don't feel Nate too much on Crazy, BUT Akon can't never replace Nate damn...their style is diffa, Akon is great with what he does, Nate is great with what he does, they can't be compared, unless they both on the same track...same style same shit...yarrameen?

i totally agree on that homie. the point i'm makin though is that akon musically had a better performance than nate on snoop's album. yes, they are two totally different artists as far as style goes, but on overall performance, i have to give it up to akon on snoop's new one. he shines.

I enjoyed the Akon track better than the Nate track and that's all that mattered. With that said, though, Nate has done better songs people have forgotten about than Akon has done in his entire short career, so Akon has a long time to go before he catches Nate. I mean "My World" shits on anything Akon's done, and when was the last time you heard "My World" ? Or "Where I wanna be"? Or fuck he was on the Chronic.

I liked Nate on "Crazy" better...you can only listen to Akon for so long then he becomes annoying but with Nate you can listen to him all day... 8)

Crazy, Boss Life, and I wanna Fuck You are all dope tracks. And like someone already said, theyre two completely different styles, you cant really compare them. I think Nate did a good job on Crazy tho, that track is smooth as fuck.

Well right now I gotta admit, Akon>>>>Nate...Akon sounds dope on everything hes been putting out, hes bringing some new flavour to the game. He will get played out the same way Nate did eventually. Nate already had his time to shine, dude was singing hooks for the whole rap game for like 3-4 years straight. Nate still sounds dope on Crazy tho.

Yes, as much as Akon annoys me, he outshined Nate. Nate just hasn't been bringin' it in 2006. I still feel Nate is the better singer because his voice is more tolerable and he's got more range.

^Yeah it would be acceptable if it was someone like Butch Cassidy who sings in Nate's style but Nate's levels ahead of Butch anyway even Butch has a nice voice too (explains it since they're cousins)...I don't get how anyone can completely hate "Crazy"'s hook...it's one of Nate's best ones he's done in a few years, his voice sounds better than ever...to me, "Crazy" >>>>> "Boss' Life" if you're comparing hooks, Nate killed "Crazy" by showing off all his range compared to Akon just singing in one range... 8)

I dunno, man, I don't think it would work that great. Too many egos, and they all sing. At least when one guy sings and one or two rap, they can trade off. If they all sing, none of them would get the chance to really shine unless someone wanted to just sing background and none of them really do that. I don't think it would work very good, maybe if they sang it in harmony but them fuckers don't know how to do that!
