I've seen quite a lot of people dissin' him. I mean, I know he fell off some, but he ain't THAT bad! >:( What y'all think?
-
yeah daz is dope
-
of course..
-
No.
I used to be a hardcore Daz fan from the beggining. All his shit on Death Row was tight, from the Chronic to Revenge Retaliation and Get Back, and now I think he's wack as fuck. Yo, him and Kurupt have both never been the same since they left the Row. I still listen to Kurupt, but Daz has seriously fallen off, production wise, and lyrically. My opinion, peace.

I'm obsessed with DPG: Dillenger & Young Gotti. This album is amazing. For me, that album is almost on the level of Dogg Food. I like the way the album flows together. I like Daz still. I don't think he's fallen off, he's just changing. Like dre did.
-
I still like Daz, a lot of people hate on him b/c of a lot of shit he done outside tha sound of his music, many people have complained about orderin shit from his web page an never receivin anything an about makaveli an dillienger being $500 an all tha shit he has said about dre

Dre's Flow Hasn't Changed, And His Lyrical Ability (From Ghost Writers) Hasn't Changed. Dre's Production Changed, But It's Still Tight.
Daz's Flow Is Straight Up WACK Now, He Sounds So Lazy On The Mic. He Barely Ever Comes With That Ghetto Voice He Had Back in The Day. "Rat A Tat Tat That Ass, Start Static With Dre, Make Way For The A K" THAT'S Daz,That's How He Oughta Be Flowing. His Voice Now Is All Player This, Player That, Yellin' And Whoopin' And Shit. Before He Was Just "Yeah, This Is Daz, That Mass Murderin' Motha" Ya Know.
His Production Is Alright, Not Quite As Good AS Before, But Still Dope. I Can't Really Hate On Daz's Production, It's Pretty Dope. But His Flow Is Just UnExcusable. There's Hardly Any Songs Where He Sounds Hard Anymore, And That's What I Liked About Him, How Ghetto He Sounded. Peace.

The Chronic Intro beat (fuckin' Ill too bad they wasted it by usin' it as an Intro and not a real song)...The High Powered beat (Awwwww shit that is such a dope beat, that whistled is sooo fuckin' Hard)...Outkast's Aint No Thang beat, I dunno why i like it so much, its just dope...
-
Well Im maybe the only one but I prefer the new flows of the rappers y'all say the fell off (Dre, Snoop, Daz, Kurupt) I love this chill shit... They had to change... Example of somebody who never changed, KRS 1, look at him now lol... I mean, I respect him, he's true but I'm more then tired of that
-
daz is tha shit
-
I aint really feelin' him nomore either. It doesn't have anything to do with him dissing Dre though... Like Trauma said, he just got real lazy. His lyrics are all the same washed up shit, I dont like the way he delivers his raps anymore.. always yellin' and shit.. He thinks he's better than he is and I think his bark is a hell of alot bigger than his bite.
He needs to go back to that laid back player/baller sound... but at the same time let it be known that he will shank your ass.
-
yeah i still like daz.. he needs to comeout with more dope shit right now tho.. i will always think daz is tight.. also hes got one of tha tightest voices when hes rapping IMO
-
I like Tha Doggpound... especially that DPG album. Daz however, he really hasn't really captured my attention lately. I remember when he would spit
"Diggity Daz Up In This Mutha Fuckin Cut Once More"
that was tight... now, its not there. I don't know what's missing, but I still love him... No Diggity, No Doubt
-Big BpG

i think that daz is still tight as fuck. the only thing wack about him is the beef that him and dre have. but suge is totally responsible for it. he has the most chillin flow. jus kick back and listen to him.IMO
Peace

Daz fallin off what the fuck yall peepz talkin bout? DPG album is a sound from the future, and I love how Daz flows too.
You want him to gangbang on tracks, shit if he'd be like that youd be dissin him like you diss Snoop!
You want him to give up laziness, he was a slim poor bro back in the day now he s a fat ass businessman witta huge belly how the fuck can he sound bangin? Your lyrics are your life, thats what I say to yall. If you spit about killin people while bathing in a Jacuzzi - thats not Daz, thats a Fabolous thing.
A hater can hate on everybody from Daz to God. Dont be hatin him, support him. Hes working for us all rap fans.
-
what are you talking about ?
this is no hating this is the truth !!!
I`m on the opinion from Trauma and Criminal909,
Daz`s flow and lyrics are really wack these days,
name any song that is on the level like verses from " bomb ass pussy " , " let me ride rmx " , " midnight luv" or a lot of more to name !!
He has no lyrical freshness these days , it just goes " gansta here, gangsta there ".
He thinks he`s better than he really is, I didn`t like the DPG abum very much .

i still like daz

I prefer Dat Nigga Daz
Daz iz going a lil bit 2 far he needs to go bacc to iz roots
-
Damn I dont know how anyone can say Daz's flow has fallen off, I still think its the same & as good as ever. Production wise he isnt as great as he once was but is still pretty good.
I really think the problem with Daz is that he is Lazy. I mean you can tell, from his music, his delayed releases, unorganized site to even his body.
I swear he was out of sight for like 2 years, then he pops 1998 with "In California" & as soon as I saw the video I laughed at how fat Daz had gotten. Even the video clip he grabs someones burger & eats it while his rappin.
& Even in the recent source magazine he looked like he put on more.
Sure, Dr.Dre delays releases, but thats because he is a perfectionist & works alot on them. Daz just cant be bothered. Daz is really gifted, I remember reading an article from a radio station saying how it took him 45 minutes to put together a dope beat for there intro for there radio show. He is really gifted & if he put his mind into it he could be one of the best producers in the ENTIRE Industry, not just in the gangsta rap department he is in now
-
i like daz still, put he does have the tendency to jump onto every single band wagon there is....
-
Daz is still tight but not like in the old Death Row days...His beats have suffered and his delivery has changed...I still liked the DPG album though...
-
he's still listenable but not even 90% as good as he use to be
-

I'll admit it: Daz is too lazy now, but he still manages to make tight beats sometimes.
