The reason behind this, I am furious at the lack of genuine effort put into Tupac projects. I know the estate say they do put in effort and try make the best album they can, but the reality is they don't.
From what I understand the artists and producers all work for free on the project so why would they bring their 'A' game? I refuse to believe that tracks like 'International' couldn't have a better job done on them.
Years of fuckin' up Tupac's vocals, making him say things he never said, editing things he did actually want to say, putting him on ringtone worthy beats, placing his vocals out of sync with beats, it has really REALLY annoyed me.
So the tracks in this file are almost CD Quality and the honest truth is I can bump this version and enjoy it as opposed to the new album.

Stop bitching, please!! The thing you have to keep in mind is that Afeni doesn't make money off Pac. All she gets she uses for the museum she's building to remember Pac. And all those artists basically are doing those remixes for free, without getting paid, just to commemorate Pac. You can't ask Afeni to spend millions to release all the vault in the OG form, cause there are too many samples, too many rappers who wants to get paid, too many problems with Suge Knight and the Death Row Records, too many uncomplete tracks that arrived to us just recorded from the NAT (like They Don't Give A Fuck About Us or Soon As I Get Home) and that can't be mixed. If you like the album buy it, support Pac and Pac's legacy and one day you'll be able to go to his museum and enjoy it. If you don't like it just download it or ignore it. But i'm tired of people always bitching about Afeni and her job. She doesn't get paid, so what's the fucking problem? She wants all the money to be saved for her projects. She's the mother. She can do whatever she wants to remember her son and to give him something to remember him forever. Yeah those songs are 100X the the album they put out. I couldn't even bump that shit. It's amazing how they fuk shit up. Someone should hook up the OG versions of them other albums too. . .

i agree with you, and want to thank you 150 per cent. i felt like vomiting when i heard that album it made me sick and dissapointed (i obviously downloaded the album because after buying thugz mansion album i felt ripped off!)

I don't produce music, however I guarantee I could come up with better beats than those that have been used. Some tracks sound like damn polophonic ringtones! And there is NO EXCUSE for changing Tupac's words in his music - how can anyone say "support Tupac and his legacy" when they change what he said??? They make him say things he never said through the magic of editing and they cut out things he did actually day!
Afeni Shakur can save all the money she wants from these projects, thats cool, but that old saying "spend money to make money" actually applies in real life. Make an album worth hearing and I'll buy it. This is the first album of his I will not buy on priciple - I'm sick of it. As a minimum get someone to do a little quality control on the beats and ensure that your sons legacy is not changed by litrerally putting words in his mouth.

Let me reply for you: NO! So Afeni is giving young talents a chance to prove they're good. Sometimes they make a good remix/beat, sometimes they don't. Just look at Sha Money XL as an example. I'm sure you don't know who the fuck he is, right? Well, he produced the best beat of the album and arguably one of the best track of the year in "Dumpin'" (i really love it), plus he produced "Playa Cards Right (male)", my 2nd fav album of the track. What's wrong with him producing for Pac? He did a great work, you can't bitch on it! Yes, he made "Untouchable" and "Sleep" too, two tracks i don't like, but hey.. he ain't Dre or Quik! Afeni gave "Untouchable RMX" to Swizz Beatz and Bone Thugs. It's not a bad combo at all (consider once again they didn't get paid). She gave Pac's Life to LT Hutton (there's an interview on dubcnn from the past week or something), T.I. (people in the South love him) and Ashanti, she gave Playa Cardz Right to Keyshia Cole, Sleep to Young Buck & Chamillionaire, Playa Cardz Right to Ludacris, Pac's Life RMX to Snoop Dogg... Ok, some tracks have unknown rappers too, in them. But Pac loved to have unknown rappers in his tracks too! (did you know Nutt-so, Scarlo, etc.. who are featured in "Dumpin'" OG when Pac made that track?). Ok, some beats are wack, i give you that. But for free that's the best she probably could manage.

Somebody like Dr. Dre? Man, don't get me wrong, i only like 2 tracks from this album, and overall it's a 2 mics, not more. But some haters will hate on Pac's albums for principle. Once she gave Eminem the job to produce and executive produce it. People bitched. She's letting the Lawz being involved (EDI produced a track too): people bitched. Dj Quik produced a track? People bitched. I don't get it. Is the OG tracks you want? Ok, i'll post you guys all the OG's from all his remixed album. But c'mon.. if you are sure you can tell Dr. Dre or Quik or whoever you like to produce the album for free i'll leave you the address of Afeni Shakur's HQ, i'm sure she won't reject the offer.

Props... I have to hear the remixed tracks to compare. "Soon As I Get Home" is my favorite Pac unreleased track of all time, and "Play Your Cards Right" is another favorite of mine. Did they mess those up on the retail version? If they are like the origionals then I'll buy the album for sure. Has every track been remixed?

I was talking about the "release the OG's" thing only.
It's obvious since i only like 2 tracks from the album that those remixes could have been done much better.
Quality is not big. But i ain't bitching about the way Afeni wants Pac's albums to be made, and about the way she wants to invest the money.
