Can anyone tell me why Dr.Dre and Royce da 5'9 have beef with each other. I always wondered why "The way I be Pimpin,The throne is mine and other tracks didn't get released on "2001". If anybody can give me some info I really appreciated thanks.

I think it goes somethin like this:

Royce's manager started sayin shit like, Em and Royce bullied Dre around in the studio etc.  He made it out to be they were in charge over Dre.  I guess Dre got pissed, and thought it was Royce saying that.

I think Rud know's how it went down.  It's a shame, them two could of been nice.

personally..i think it was over money i remember dre mentioning something about people oweing him money and royce was 1 of them i think this was just the sequel to it all..oh well im not sure rite now..

Welllll..I can tell you why "The Way I Be Pimpin" wasnt on 2001.  XXPLOSIVE is ten times better so why would Dre choose the lesser of 2 tracks with the same beat.

I heard it was because Royce's manager was at a press conference, and he was promoting Royce.  He started sayin shit like, "Dre's album wouldn't be shit without Royce."  Dre heard this so he took all the Royce shit off the album just to prove them wrong.

thats the first, and only explanation i heard for months. i  think I originally read it in the newsondl page on hiphopsite.com.

all this new stuff about that "tell me that my hook might sell/ and say faggot shit to me, like I look like L(L)" line on being boom is about Dre is newer to me.. well... since Rud told us the other week he saw it on a Royce forum.
