Bishop Lamont has been hard at work lately. He's been in the studio night and day recording music in preperation for an explosive 2007 for Aftermath. Bishop's debut "The Reformation" is currently scheduled for Summer of next year, with Dr. Dre's "DETOX" following in the Fall.
In the meantime, fans can expect to hear Bishop on the mixtape "***** Noize", hosted by DJ Skee. That mix-tape, in addition to a mix-tape called "The Pope-Mobile" will probably hit the streets by Spring of next year.
With some possable changes coming up for The Math as well as the recent signing of Tiffany, Dr. Dre and Bishop Lamont will have thier hands full preparing for a new era of Aftermath and counting down to Bishop and Dre's respective releases!
Bishop will soon be hitting the studio with Chris Martin from Coldplay and some other respected Urban artists. No guest artists have officially been confirmed, but planned sessions with Eminem and 50 Cent are in order. Production on the anticipated LP is expected to come from Dr. Dre, Battlecat, DJ Premier, The RZA, Pete Rock and others. Be sure to keep checking with www.Aftermathmusic.com for more info.

Can't wait for the album but 2008 is more realistic, unless "some possible changes for the Math" means distribution deal wise BUT I don't think so...
-
Wonder what the changes are gonna be????
probably droppin Busta and/or Eve from the roster

Miss me with this clue mystery bullshit though. I hate that shit.

I have some really cool footage of Bishop & Damizza last week acting like class clowns at Damizza's studio... if I get edited quickly I will share it with y'all...

Production line-up is indeed great.Dre, Primo, Pete Rock, RZA and Lord Finesse (I sure hope he is indeed on the album like previously stated). That's like a dream come true

I think bishop is overrated...
I'm not waiting for him to drop an album
he hasn't convinced me yet
-
I can't wait to hear this album... I don't really care to hear 50 Cent on the album but I do understand the marketing standpoint where having 50 on the album will get people from more coasts to check out the album... but yea I could do without him on the album... unless he drops some dope shit but I'm doubting it.
-
Thanx God..Finally we will hear sth innovative.
-
yea i heard a lil bit of this on dj skee's last show

He aint comin out if Jimmy don't think he can sell. If he aint got a nice buzz going, he gonna get shelved
-
^^ I doubt he'll have a problem with that. Like Em and Snoop, he's diverse enough to make any type of song. I think the Aftermath artists that'll have the roughest time dealing with Interscope are Dion, Joell Ortiz and Raekwon, unfortunately.

the list of producer looks suspect to me.
-
The Reformation is one of my most anticipated albums right now. Good to see a new West Coast star rise up. A production line up like that and the skills Bishop has = :o
-
isn't dj skee games' dj or summ?? why is he doing a bishop mixtape?
production line-up looks cool
peace

Bishop said it himself a few times that those producers would be on the album (he also mentioned trying to reach DJ Pooh). Now we just have to wait & see if they're all actually on it.
