All it takes is one to blow up and the rest will follow. Lil' Rob was getting a lot of radio play a while back. I think I latin artist really needs to hook up with a dominant black label or group to get some exposure. Somethin like signing with G-Unit, Rocafella, or Def Jam.

Also, I think another thing that's holding them back is how they present themselves. Rap fans see them on TV with lowriders and khakis and chucks and they'll be thinking it's just the same shit from the early 90's. You know what I mean. Almost like a been there, done that type thing. Right now Game and Snoop are the only rappers to get away with doing that.

People slept on the dopest latino group called Psyco Realm so probably not. Like it or not a Black artist or producer has to stamp you when you're another race. Em had Dre etc.. Ricans and Dominicans are different cause they got African blood (Not many Cubans with Black blood could afford to come here with the exception of people like Dre from Miami, the Reyeses and Cristina Milian) and they were always closer to Black folks in places like NY, Chi, Philly etc..

Man, I've been getting into Latino hiphop lately........Listening to Mr Capone-e, Lil Sic, Omar Cruz, Mr Shadow, Mar Sancho, Mr Criminal etc etc
Im liking this shit, mainly due to the beats......Largely due to Fingazz.
But whether it's gonna blow....Im not too sure...Maybe a bit, like I think we will see more Latin rappers but not to mainstream level IMO.
Most of them on the mic IMO sound the same and aren't super good on the mic, but they keep thier tracks West tha fucc out which is why I like it....Fingazz is a foo with his beats hahaha..
But I think Omar Cruz will have a good chance to blow, and you never know, maybe A&Rs will then start to look more into Latin hiphop....which I hope it does blow up, it's just I don't really see it happening too quickly apart from Omar and maybe Mr Capone-e.

I think its easier for black rappers to make it big, because latin people discriminate too much on each other. Like I doubt any PR or DR from the east coast would want a Chicano from cali get big on radio or on TV, or maybe somebody had a bad experience with some ese's and is now all anti ese! and says fuck Chicano rap. But I think g-funk will go away about the same time as sampling does I love G-funk music, so I always support that shit ;) and chicano rap.
Plus latin rap already did blow up or is blowing up cause' MTV is puttin out a mtv3 for straight latin shit including latin rap.

The only people that transcended that label was Pun, Fat Joe and Cypress Hill. Look how well they all did/done in their career.
