Title: Connecting a Wii to the Internet

my wireless router took a dump a while back... so im on a hard wire router...

i know nintendo is going to release a ethernet adapter but i dont know when... do u guys know?? and if so do you have any details... speed with usb? and so forth....

and if not could u guys lead me to a cheap but good wireless router? i really need to connect this to the net to get it really going...

anyone have any tips or tricks or anything about the Wii online features?

also what wirless technology is the wii using... 802.11b or 802.11g or are they possibly on that new 802.11n?

i dont know, theres nothing that much online that is cool right now, they got a few games in the shop, but its nothin to worry about.

already have a network switch behind my tv for my htpc and my xbox

i would prefer hardwired too... but when and how much is that adapter going to be.... and also will the speed be slow since it is runing of USB instead of the acctuall ethernet port or Wifi?

usb2 is more than capable of doing 100 megabit.. shouldnt be slow at all..

Wireless router? No idea...I live in the UK...Now you could use the Nintendo Wifi Usb connector can't you? That's what I heard.

well i just bought this router hopefully it works for me.... couldnt say no at 19 bucks! lol

i did end up paying $12 bucks overnight delivery  so total came out to $34.41 after overnight shipping and taxes...

anyone have this router? or heard any good or bad about it? seems to be able to do everything i need it to do.
