I was flipping through channels last night and I saw the Clippers/Heat game was on on Fox Sports so I was watching the pre game. I don't remember the 2 guys that do play by play but they were talking about Dwayne Wade and I kind of had a feeling where this convo was going with the whole D. Wade gets the calls, but I thought nooo way are they going to have the balls to say that on tv. But they DID! They said: "The word around the league is Wade gets all the calls!" The refs have a quick whistle in his favor and that he has shot something like 80 free throws in the last 3 games! LOL! That was some funny shit. But what is up with Paul Westphal? He is a str8 kiss ass on there. I liked it better when Jack Haley was doing both Lakers and Clippers reports.

Paul is just brown nosing for most of the halftime and pre game report. I find it funny that he does Laker commentary and he used to be a Suns coach. That is why it seems so phony to me. But ya got to do what ya got to do to pay the bills.

why did they fire dude anyways? I like him better than Myers.

i think i read in the paper it was due to poor ratings and his slow voice or something like that. bad decision IMO. chick hearn said he liked him too when he went out sick a year before he died

Well, Myers knows more about the game and gives more detail, but Sunderland had more passion, and seemed like he actually loved the Lakers...I liked 'em both, never understood why they got rid of Sunderland though...PeACe

I don't think they said anything about bad ratings, they said they just wanted to go in a different direction after that terrible season...PeACe

I can't stand Westphal. So monotone and he looks like he does not even want to be there. Just seems like a bunch of ass kissing when he talks. I live out here in Vegas so we get Fox Sports West for California so we get all the Clippers/Lakers home games when they are televised on the channel. I will watch their games when I can't get a Bulls game on. But that comment about Wade was classic. They will probably get fined from David Stern for saying that though. Real talk. ;D

I doubt it...Announcers rarely get fined.
