I was bumpin the "Featuring Ice Cube" cd the other day while smoking a blunt with my boy. I hit up the track "Bop Gun" with George Clinton.
We are getting nice and faded and nodding our heads to the beat when all of a sudden in the middle of the song WE HEAR A GOAT GO BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA in the background. At first we are like what the fuck are we smoking????? There is no way we just heard a goat. But when we played the song back sure enough there is a goat going baaaaa! WTF?????
I guess weed makes you more senstive to the music you are listening to. Because I had listened to that song hundreds and hundreds of time sober and never heard that mother fucking goat!
If you have that CD go back and listen to Bop Gun. The goat in the background is funny as hell even if you aren't high.

I noticed this aswell, when you`re `fucced up with weed not with alcohol you`re much more sensitive with music.
my ex : one day when I was weeded I listened to nuthin but a g thang and suddenly my mind felt on the bass line and I heard that background bass line so intensive I never did before.

the chronic is the ultimate album to listen to while high. You CANNOT DIE until you hear "Lyrical GangBang" "High Powered' and "Stranded On Death Row" while high, you get the fullest out of it that way, there's a ripplein the drum programming in lyrical gangbang that you have to hear while high,ever since i heard it when i was high i've been able to hear it since, the production is more detailed than you'd think, it seems that that track is simple produced but hit the herb up and listen, stranded on death row and high powered are just dope as hell while high,peace-Tanjint

I might be a newbie to this internet forum,
but ya must be some newbiez to the chronic if you don't know, or just noticed, that you'll hear music a bit different when you're high, especielly when you haven't smoked alot before. And ya'll think The Chronic is the best shit to hear while high? Dub music is the best if you really want to get your ears entertained. I ain't saying it's some bullshit, The Chronic is some nice shit blowing trees to. But there's alot more to experience.

One problem with smoking weed and listening to rap is that it seems like ON EVERY CD they mix in a police siren to at least one track.
I'll be driving my car...and hear that shit and freak out thinking there is a cop behind me about to pull my ass over. Then I just realize it is the fucking CD and not a real cop. :-X

Oh yea...MY friend was driving and he was listening to 'Fuck Tha Police' with me, and he got scared as fuck, and lowered the volume, and he was like "*phewww* I thought a cop was behind me"...

I noticed all that from the sirens to noises. One song you gotta pay attention to the background while blunted is "I got 5 on it" by the luniz. there's all kinds of noises going on.
