Title: Job employment history question

Hey, I'm applying for a city job in LA..but i need help.  Should I be putting down all my jobs? If so, what should I write down about a job that I was laid off?  I need serious answer here.

Also, if I don't remember one of the jobs' info..what do i do? Leave it out?

well, put down any job that u think is pertinent to displaying the skills necessary for your new job. like if you worked at a Deli before, you dont really need to put that down if youre applying for a marketing company. but lets say you did catering before, it would be a great job to list when applying for a restaurant manager position. but if you dont have that much job history, just put everything down. If you were laid off, by fault of the company, and you didnt do anything wrong, then its cool to list, just explain what happened, company was experiencing financial problems, and they had to let you off.

its not that hard to find job's info, what info are you missing? if you put the job in your resume and leave some info out, then it shows you didnt realyl take the chance to research it, especially when its a company youve already worked at. so its either leave it in and find all the info, or leave it out completely.

most of the time employers are obligated not to disclose whether they fired somebody or not, its on you the applicant. so you can lie on the app and you have a 90% chance they wont find out. i used to lie all the time, making up former employers and shit. got some of my best jobs that way :)

Often cases your last 3 jobs is sufficient.
