the album was gr8, esp lyrically.cube took it g-funk with songs like ghetto bird, you know how we do and bop gun.
however, i feel that tho lyrically as always the album finisjed streong, the prodn was not the best. the remixs were better
eg lil ass gee (eerie gumbo mix) >>>>>> original
what can i do (remix)>>>>>>original
when i get 2 heaven(remix)>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>original
the you know how we do it eremix was actually a really good tune, but coulnt touch the original.
i think if the 1st 3 remixes(where 2 were videos), were released instead of the original on album, the album would have sounded better.
i think this is the reason he released bootlegs and b-sides
that y the videos 2 lil ass gee and what can i do were in 94, 95, during bootlgs and b-sides, and werent original singles 2 lethal injection.
lethal injection singles were really doe, bop gun, you know ho we don it.
basically take out the 3 songs mentioned at start for the mixes, and add songs like 2 in the morning, the you know how we do it remix, and ghetto bird remix too on reissue

It's a personal classic.
-
It's a great album. Amerikkka's Most and Death Certificate are classic.
Every album can't be classic.
-
Not to say that gangsta topic makes a album more or less a classic, but the subject matter is different. Cube was down with the Nation on that album so he has always been political but he brought up some different things. Beats alot of times to me are like opinions with people, some like them, some don't. IMO the beats were good, he has had better but the producers on there did they thing. And it was more of a laid back vibe and he was getting heavy into movies. Alot of people would say this was around the time he fell off but when he came back with Mack 10 and WSC he was killing the mic.

becuz kill at will and death certificate were thts tha best cube came him in his prime! tht ngga is still hot though my favorite west coast rapper of all time!
-
Cube's first 2 albums were classic, I don't think he fell off he just was putting out an album every year, I don't know any other rapper who put out classic albums in consecutive years. Lethal Injection was dope just not on the same level...He also was a huge part of NWA Straight Outta Compton so you can say he has 3 classics and then you got Westside Connection first album too...

This album isn't even close to being a classic. Amerikkas Most Wanted and Death Certificate are classic albums. Letah injection to me is when Cube started to fall off. Lethal injection is nothing but a blatant attempt to ride the g-funk wave that was going on at the time. This album was average at best.

Just like Jay- z started coming out with records like crazy in te late 90s / early 2000
one of my favorite cube albums. classic to me.
brings back memories.
same here, brings back a lot of memories actualy. When i was bumping this record things were damn cool
-
the main point is what would have made album better.
ps so what he started going g-funk, thats a good thing he did, or u werent get sngs like ghetto bird, bop gun, you know how we do t, what can i do remix, when i get to heaven remix
we all know amerikkas most wanted and death cert are classics, but i ant talking bout them. allow them
this is just on lethal injection. cos it seems to e that in the latter songs cube was just talking and not his rough self, as on his ealier albums.
thats y the remixes, he came across rougher and harder
-
Never really felt this album. Must say the only songs I really ever felt from my Cube albums (I got 3) were the one's DJ Pooh did on The Predator.

too racist to be enjoyable to me

You should really learn to write understandable.

Yeah he was on one with this album, but he was down with the Nation of Islam so that was where alot of that came from. The Predator was like that but more on the whole Rodney King riots tip.
