Title: I'm Making Some Mixes
Post by: Jakubs on December 11, 2006, 04:46:18 PM: I'm making some mixes that remind me of summer, because honestly all this rain is starting to depress me. Anyway, I want two different summer mixes, one for the day and the other for the night. Please add your suggestions and specify which list you think they belong on. Most of the songs will probably west coast because the music is more laid back, but any rap song is welcome. These are the songs I have so far.

Summer Days
3X Krazy - Keep It On The Real
DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince - Summertime
DJ Quik - Summer Breeze

Summer Nights
Three 6 Mafia - Da Summa

I'm also trying to compile a west coast theme introspective mix. I want songs that have a good message, but with that classic west coast vibe. These are the songs I have so far.

E-40 - Things'll Never Change
Mac Mall - Ghetto Theme (with Eboni Foster)
MC Eiht - Streiht Up Menace*
Rappin' 4-Tay - Off Parole

*Not sure if this song is going to work with the theme, but the instrumental makes it feel like it fits right in, let me know what you think.

King Tee - Freestyle Ghetto (Ft. Xzibit, MC Breeze, Tash & J-Ro)

everything about this track is perfect, I dunno wether it'll fit this mix though.

If possible album titles would be great. I don't have most of these songs and I'm having trouble finding the albums they're on.
